Thank you! Now does anyone know where to find the Chilean version?

Why do I have to watch a 30 second ad every time I want to skip
ahead? So annoying.

I've only just discovered Limessupremum's amazing postings at
Dailymotion lately. It's good to find the 3 mentioned above (the
Greek seems to be complete, Peru apparently has only about 102 of
147 shows up so far.) And special thanks, L, for the Viet shows.
There were other sites with it before, but not one would stream all
the episodes correctly. (Dailymotion is not without similar
problems, but so far, by working at it, I've had much better
success.) Beyond these, it also has LLL Belgium (the resolution
seems better than what has been available before), Portugal
(good-looking, but a lackluster series) and Turkey (called Ece)!
Like, I never saw the Turkey shows before, anywhere. They
apparently do good tv there. And it has one of the best looking
Lola actresses. From what I saw of Ece so far, it looks well done
and it is hard to see anything to remind one of the distinctly
Middle Eastern culture of the region, especially not in its lively,
fashionable, and liberated women. Alas,it only lasted 25 shows. The
version is very faithful to the Argentinian. That means there are
few surprises, but this fan has felt that the departures previously
made from the original have unfortunately not been very appealing.
Indonesia (not on L's site) went its own way and was disappointing.
It lasted only 15 shows. To this fan's taste, the only version that
departed much from the standard but yet was very good in its own
right was the Philippines series. At this point in time, it seems
that it's the Indian and Chile show that remain elusive. Where can
one find the former?

Actually you can find the indian version on youtube.

Thanks for the tip, #11. In fact, I actually have checked YouTube.
You are correct in stating that the Indian show can be found there,
but the number of shows available are very limited at YouTube. I
have read that there was 120 half-hour programs made.
Just yesterday I found an Indian site (I haven't tried streaming
from it yet) that offers over 40 shows from the last part of the
season, but anything approaching a complete set I haven't located
net.
120 is only half the number of hour-long shows Margosha had, but
its more than Philippines, Turkey, Vietnam, and Indonedsia, and I
around the length of LouisLouise (a half-hour show, too, it seems).
Something I read made me think that the show wasn't very popular in
India and that it was wrapped up sooner than the original plan
called for. At least they use a little English now and then, but
not enough to matter.
Unfortunately, the very good Turkish show, Ece, I assume, ran only
26 shows (longer than Indonesia and in a way longer than Ele e Ela,
since the last 6 were double-length --maybe they were clearing the
inventory out so they could put on a replacement). It ends without
even a patched-together resolution of ultimate Ece's fate. It
actually leaves her in an unfortunate fix, an incident that was
part of other shows, too, but in them we saw how Lola slipped the
noose.

I am amazed at how all Lola Chile episodes up to #215 or so have
simply vanished from the web. Does anyone have any information
where they went?

Why can't Canada, America, Britain, New Zealand or Australia create
a Lalola? People would love to watch an arrogant cocky manwhore guy
be placed in the body of a sexy helpless woman with every man
wanting him.

Fox tried with Eva Adams, but they fell into the trap of trying to
do Lalola in the contemporary style of American comedy. Lalola has
to be a character-driven romantic comedy, and Americans don't to
such things well anymore. The jokes of a modern network comedy are
stupid and vulgar, men and women are presented at a constant state
of war, and while there are plenty of bone-head gags, there is
almost zero characterization. In a US comedy, a character is only a
caricature and he must be either dumb and vulgar, or nasty and
vulgar.
The way foreign countries have done Lalola is to maximize
character, classical romantic development, and to skillfully use
the humor of daily living, not forced gags. Try to do Lalola with
cynicism of life and pottiness gets you the fiasco of Eva Adams. It
seems that while American entertainment is sex-obsessed, its type
of sexuality is very immature. Also, there is something about
sexual themes done in an intelligent, respectful way makes the
self-appointed media watchdogs very uncomfortable. Look at the
recent crash and burn of the series The Playboy Club. It was
excellent (much better done than "Magic City" now on STARZ), but
all the feminists and the religious right cared about were those
Playboy Bunny outfits. The non-stop railing by these nut groups so
poisoned the environment that the show was practically cancelled
before the first episode aired.
Ideally, we should get a dubbed version of one of the foreign
shows, such as LouisLouise or Margosha. We already know they're
good. An American show might not last any longer than the 3
episodes of The Playboy Club. As for the other English countries,
well, at least they couldn't do Lalola worse than the Yanks. Well,
maybe they could. "Boy Meets Girl" has its fans, but this watcher
isn't one of them. It was neither romantic nor a comedy.
As for Chile, one can only assume that the copyright holders must
be jealously swatting down any net download site that appears. The
Greek show must have a similar hit squad. As mentioned above, the
Greek shows are again available, but they probably won't last for
long. One only can wish that such zeal would instead be used to
produced dubbed versions of these shows. It's easy and cheap to
make subtitled DVDs, but no one will do even do that much.

I still don't see how Margosha did what they did. Didn't it wind up
where the man in the woman's body married the woman in the man's
body even though the main character said they were relatives? How
did they get away with the incest?
And how the crap could a person fall in love with someone who is in
their original body? Totally weird. Sorry for the rant but that
crap has always puzzled me.
How could feminists hate the Lalola story and idea? A man gets
punished for being a man whore and a cheater and is placed in a
female body and has to deal with skirts, bras, periods, breasts,
thongs, and men.

I agree, post #17. Matching Margot with the new Gosha was a bad
idea. Maybe the Russian people thought so, too, since they didn't
give Margosha a 4th season. Personally, I think a new season of
marriage issues and confronting the life-changing experience of
pregnancy would have been a natural progression. But would it work
with the new Gosha? That's doubtful. Andre was the right sort of
match for Margot, and marrying him would have been in accord with
the Argentinian pattern, the one that satisfied so many fans. I
agree with Karma. When the original model is departed from, Lalola
versions usually go wrong. Not always, but usually. The worst way
it can go wrong is in the final wrap-up, like in Margosha. It's one
of the best LLL series, over all, but it has one of the most
wrong-headed conclusions.
Regarding the indifference of feminism to TG plots: I believe that
it is middle class women who are the real audience of Lalola. Where
Lalola versions have been popular is among women in prosperous
nations without strong feminist influences. The show does best in
countries where women confront slightly (not tyrannically)
chauvinist societies. (It flopped in 2 Islamic states, and the
others wouldn't touch it). Women in macho societies are torn
between traditional expectations and the opportunities offered by
the new world of careers. They believe that their male counterparts
are lucky, and that they have so much less demanded of them. Such a
point of view would tend to create a taste for seeing a man having
to deal with the conflicts of modern womanhood. But
already-liberated societies, mainly North Europe and the
English-speaking world, form a friendly environment for the
creation of so-called women's liberation groups.
Active feminism doesn't make up a large TV viewing audience. Its
main magazines have no audience and are kept in business by
foundational money. The appearance of feminist groups is the litmus
test that shows that the process of liberation has already been
carried through to a successful conclusion. Really, organized
feminism didn't appear until it was too late for it to contribute
anything positive. They are small, backward-looking groups,
creating mythologies of a time long past and only the politicians
and news media still considers them irrelevant.
This is to say that, in already liberated societies, women as a
whole don't feel oppressed. Without their feeling oppressed (by
conflicting expectations), Lola's problems must seem far removed
from their own lives. Therefore, the show, or any show like it,
wouldn't much interest them.

But how can you fall in love with your own body and have sex with
it? And again, how did they get away with the so-called incest
since they are suppose be related according to the main character's
lie?
Sometimes I wouldn't mind being in the Lalola reality since he got
paid more than I do and got a sexy body that he could use to his
advantage. He was very powerful in that female body. He also could
show off that power by wearing tight skirts that show off his butt
and legs and also wear somewhat revealing shirts to show some
cleavage. Pregnancies and periods might be a deal breaker.
