This is the place to list any transformation related stories that can be found on the interactive, user-created fiction website writing.com. Link to the main page: www.writing.com ===Animal=== Doggon it! The Shaggy Dog by Yoshi king - Based on the 1959 classic! Mom's A witch! by Yoshi kin ...more

I don't know since I'm not familiar with most of the TF stories there. That's why I was asking, because I don't know what the stories are.

But maybe the purpose a list for them would serve best, is maybe they could also be ranked. If many are bad, it could let people know which ones are the good ones and which ones could be skipped over.

>>> "I've not heard of anything but the lack of quality to the TF stories there. Are there enough stories there, of acceptable quality, that you'd like a entry for a list?"

I'm fairly sure that there are plenty of transformations listed on this site that are quite low in quality and even questionable as to whether or not they count as transformations. Heck, there are way more bad stories on Fictionmania than there are good ones.

Most of the transformation stuff on writing.com seems to be interactive stories, anyway, which anybody can add on to so long as they're registered. Thus, the quality of those stories tends to vary by writer.

I just knew someone was gonna say that.

I guess in the interest of being a 'complete' catalog, it should be included too... regardless of the individual story's quality.

Entry has been made. :-)

Heh, well it's cool that you made it. And sorry if that came off as snippy.

From: cj , 199 months, post #25
You're welcome.

FWIW, I didn't see it as snippy... but that's just my own opinion.

:-)

YK2 - anyone can edit the page and add information... it might just take a bit for it to be approved.

Anyhow, to give everyone a bit of a head-start, and a few examples - I added all those to the entry for you. :-)

I read some of the vore ones, there are alot but a few good ones.

I was hoping for some good animal/inanimate tfs, but there are two many second person (I prefer third person) narratives, the all of them (or most) are male tfs, no female tfs. Add that to the many who are poorly written, and you've got a pretty low percentage.

I have one and I have some body switch ones like suite life of zach and cody andzoey 101, heroes, and naruto, and in mine you make the story and well check it for your self http://www.writing.com/main/view_item/user_id/hero12

I prefer 2nd to 3rd, as it gives a more "what would you do" feel to it, which I like. I did make 1 3rd, and nearly all of mine have boy/girl options.

Any specific story types you folks want to do? I can create a new interactive for the metamorphose group.

From: rugal , 199 months, post #33
I just added a bunch of TG-based stories, mainly the ones that I thought had generally decent ideas, even if the quality was a little lacking or if there were barely any chapters.

So at the very least, I encourage anybody who wants to see the quality of the stories improve or see the stories continue in general to register and add on to them..

From: guest (YK2) , 199 months, post #34
Awesome I'll check them out.

I hate when people complain" There are bad writers so it sucks." Then make good posts and improve the stories. You can see a drastic change from my first posts to my more recent ones. So please add and make the interactive memorable. I hate writing almost every posts in my stories :P

Added a new one to the database. Let's make this one good. Lots of options and a 3rd person story. "The Animal Experiment."

Having added a few interactives of my own, I'm going to have a go at updating this list. There are quite a number of good stories that deserve a look-in.

Never edited here before though. Any assistance would be appreciated.

From: guest (Guyote) , 165 months, post #37
Question. What category would I list an interactive under if it had a number of different transformations? Say if it had Animal and Gender, would I list them under both Animal and Gender? Or the most predominant aspect? Or a third category entitled Miscelleaneous?

From: guest , 164 months, post #38
I'd list it in both if it's got animal and gender, and make some kind of note that it has the other as well. Saying which is predominant would also be useful.

If it's mostly one though and only has a very minimum amount of anything else, then it wouldn't be worth listing the minimal part.
