if you're having speed issues, the problem is on your end and there are many faqs, especially on utorrent's web site, that can help you resolve it.

(I reiterate that I reserve the right to mock people mercilessly in this thread at this point since everything has been said, over and over and over again and to ask the same question becomes a show of stupidity and/or laziness of not reading the thread.)

Ego, absolutely. Patience, let's see, I've shown far more patience than you may think given this thread stretches back 5 months. I deal with people who come to me and the first words out of their mouths are that they are "computer stupid" on a very regular basis. Their words, not mine, and I help them out. You have no concept of how much compassion and patience I have. I'm incredibly helpful in the other threads. Only in this one will I not suffer people who don't read everything when about 80 some odd messages of this 170+ message thread are quite helpful. How much patience and compassion is left when it keeps going like this:

Me: Hey look, here's several dozens of files of different media, many of which are long sought, I made a list and I'm sharing them, here's where to go, and here's how to get them. (Seems simple enough doesn't it?)
Brick wall guy: So what are you sharing?
Me: Look above. It shows you where to go to see the list.
Brick wall guy: So how do I get it?
Me: Look above. It shows you what you need to do.
Brick wall guy: I went to that site and saw a file I want. How do I get it?
Me: Look above, it says what you need to get the files.
Brick wall guy: I tried clicking on the file and nothing happened.
Me: Probably because all you're looking at is a list. To get the files, you have to follow the directions.
Brick wall guy: So how do I get the files?
Me: Look above, that's how.
Brick wall guy: Why doesn't anyone help me get these files?
Me: Have you tried reading the directions?
Brick wall guy #2: Hey, I just came across this thread. What're you sharing and how do I get it?
Me: Go back and read the earlier posts, it'll tell you everything.
Brick wall guy #2: So how do I get the files?
Me: Read above.
Brick wall guy #2: I don't understand and I don't want to read the old stuff. Just tell me what I need to know.
Me: You'd know all you need to if you read this thread. I'm not going to repost it all just for your benefit. (See the frustration building here?)

And this just goes on and on. I even had clear and concise step by step instructions on my web server once and people still had no clue how to get the files I was sharing. I've just re-read this entire thread (skimmed actually) and from what I can tell, the majority of my posts are fairly informative and mellow toned. Only since the beginning of the month once I knew of my plans to go away have I been a bit of an ass.

I have no compassion or patience for those that don't try to help themselves first. If someone has a problem, and we (not just me here) says here's some reading you can do to figure out your problem and even provide clickable links, and they say something to the effect of, nah, don't wanna go there and read, you tell me how to do it, and don't give us more info to try to help, not much we can do.

And I will never deny having a large ego. My issues are far from major compared to a lot of people I know if having an ego, showing impatience from time to time, and being incompassionate towards people who don't help themselves and wants everything handed/spoon-fed to them are all you're calling me out on. This is true, yes, but sad? Hardly.

I got the whole thing downloaded, but for some reason it doesn't look like I'm seeding, I'll try and figure out why. Last night it was FLYING, I was downloading the last of the manga and such at about 110 kb/sec.

Keep that Ego, Man. Its the only way you can know you're better than the rest of us :-P

Well -- looks like the tracker is gone. At the risk of Timber deriding my dumbassedness, I searched boxtorrents but did not find the torrent he mentioned. Did anyone find it and is it working? Timber was running the tracker on his own server, but it might just as well be on a public tracker (Piratebay or btjunkie, for example).

Miss Pinky, if you have the whole file and you want to seed, you will have to set up and announce new torrent

My machine went down for final backups yesterday and will be going into a box later tonight for storage. Someone else will need to make a new torrent metadata file since the last one was definitely linked to the machine that has gone offline. There were directions posted by someone earlier in this thread. And I only mock those that don't read or try before asking, and in your case, you obviously looked around before asking.

So far I'm still uploading at about 40 kBps. I don't have any immediate need to shut down the client, so for now the peers I see are welcome to the 42.7 GB I did get downloaded.

I modified Timber's torrent to use another tracker.
You can find the torrent if you go to the fictionmania.xeraweb.com forum.
It would be nice if some of the seeds seed both torrents as long as they are connected to leeches on the old torrent.
