I need some help. I downlaod chemistry and I then downloaded Winace
to extract the rar file. The problem is when I try to extract the
file it wont let me. It goes to a little window that says file name
and I press OK nothing happens. Now can someone help with WinAce or
recommend a free program that I can download to extract these files

Just use winrar. If you don't register it, it just pops up with a
registration window you have to close whenever you use it.WinAce
may be complaining if you don't have all 21 parts of the archive
before attempting to assemble them. Or you're trying to unarchive a
file that isn't part of what you've downloaded. If you only
downloaded one part, you wouldn't even have a full episode to
extract so it may be complaining due to that. I wouldn't know for
sure as I never used WinAce before. Just keep in mind if you don't
have 21 rar files all starting with Chemistry and a different
number, you don't have the whole thing.

I've updated my web site with more download links. All of the parts
to Chemistry is up now along with some other requests and various
other files, most are part of the torrent.

Your a hard working man aren't you timber?

Well, as I posted on the #fictionmania forum, I really haven't had
time to work hard or barely work on the new version of the torrent.
Just uploading files from the existing torrent and posting a link
doesn't take much. I did try to post an update to my web site
yesterday when I had some time but due to a slight (well, several)
typo on my part, I had to abort it otherwise my meager 2 web pages
would be riddled with broken links leading to much frustration for
others I'm sure. So I should have an update added in the next 36
hours with updated links. If all goes well, I might even have it up
in about 14.5 hours.

Good luck timber you will need it.

Well, that took me more than a few days to get back to it. I've
updated my site with more links to clips and stuff. I do plan to
remove the links to the full episodes and movies within the next
update or two so if you plan to grab them, you might want to do it
soon. I mainly uploaded them to make downloading the old server
torrent less time intensive.
As for the new torrent that I plan to build, that will have to wait
until I get the new external hard drive I ordered. I don't have the
appropriate disk space to manipulate the files around like I want
right now and the materials are spread over several hard drives and
shuffling them around from one drive to another is slow and a
headache. It may get as large as over 100 gigs at the rate things
are going.

I wonder what the biggest hard drive is?

I want to thank you for all your hard work. There's some great
stuff up there! I hate to even say this but is there any way you
might have that whole Click 7 thing? I've searched for that for
some time and am so curious to see it.
Again, thanks for all your hard work. We all appreciate it!!!

From: Timber

Yes, it is part of the torrent. It'll be uploaded soon enough, with
link on my site and on the #fictionmania forum. Though as mentioned
prior, full versions of things will be removed soon.

Thank you timber for uploading the whole movie of Dr. Jeckel and
Ms. Hide. I have just seen it and it is awesome.

I received my new hard drive. It actually got to me yesterday and I
didn't get to pick it up until today. With a 4 day weekend coming,
I might manage to be productive. Never any promises though.

Its okay take your time timber. There is no need to rush through
things. With thanksgiving coming its time to enjoy peace and have a
little fun with family and friends.

There is a strong likelihood I will stop seeding the torrent in
about 55 hours to pull it offline, work on the new torrent, etc. I
asked on the #fictionmania forum if those pulling it down see other
seeds, or have enough peers to assemble a full copy amongst
yourselves and received no responses. So that's a yes to me, or
people just don't care. Either way, it doesn't impact me, only
those who are trying to get the torrent in its entirety. So be
advised, if you're not complete on any specific files you want,
you'd best set the priority on those really high and choose what
you want to skip to help insure you get them. That is, unless there
are other seeds. The highest complete I have seen connected to was
in the low 90%. I occasionally see another seed or 2, but that
might be an echo or false reading. My web site will be updated
probably once this weekend, and then not again until the new
torrent is ready.

" I asked [... and received no responses. So that's a yes to me
[..."
Odd definition of "yes" you have there. :-)
Assuming the one seed is you, I'm seeing 96%, with no way of
knowing what I can't see. 4% is a lot to be missing out of 40GB,
especially if you're removing some stuff.

Yeah, it is an odd definition. It's one of those things where if
you say you're going to pull the plug and if no one complains that
they're not done, then you assume they're done. Like if someone
else turns off the TV after asking if anyone will mind it getting
shut off and then someone shouts "hey, I wasn't done watching that"
after the fact. If I take the lack of response as a no, then I may
have to leave it up indefinitely because more people are prone to
complain, because there's just so much apathy out there. As
mentioned early on, returning this torrent was meant as a stop gap,
until the new one could be built. I had hoped others who had the
full torrent from the previous incarnation would be able to help
seed and distribute to others, and I put bunches of files online to
download to reduce the amount of time needed to seed it. I also
asked in the other forum "hey, if there's any files you're missing
large chunks of so I can upload it" an no one responds, another
sign things must be cruising along well.

Just a friendly bump to keep this thread in view :-)
How are things looking with the new torrent?

Too much to read, so I apologize if I'm redundant. Do I need to
worry about viruses, worms and such with these files?
Also, does anyone have a recommendation on how to view winrar
files? Again, I'm concerned about saving software that mucks up the
computer.
Thanks!
