A Disney animated feature that retells the story of King Arthur's training by Merlin. The Wizards' Duel has to be my favorite scene in the movie. It's a wild and crazy battle of wits. Mad Madam Mim makes the rules. 1. No mineral or vegetable, only animal. 2. No make-believe things like, oh, pink dragons and such. 3. No disappearing. Of course, Mim gets around rule number 2 by turning into a purple dragon rather than a pink one. Merlin's method of outsmarting her and defeating her is clever and satisfying.

The big highlight of the movie, which is enjoyed by so many viewers has to be the Wizard's Duel.

Merlin's Transformations: Tortoise, Rabbit, Caterpillar, Walrus, Mouse, Crab, Goat, Mouse, Germ

Mim's Transformations: Crocodile, Raccoon, Chicken, Elephant, Tiger, Rattlesnake, Rhino, fictious Purple Dragon

At one scene it looks as if Mim transforms into many animals more than Merlin who stays as a mouse. Starting with the Elephant, then disappears off screen to morph into a tiger; next a close-up of the tiger's tail turning into a rattlesnake; Merlin then becomes a crab and Mim becomes a Rhino. However, if you look at the list, it's all balanced, the number of transformations the two powerful figures go through.

Probably the best transformation has to be Mim morphing from massive crocodile to small racoon, while Merlin doesn't realise.
