Review: Godzilla: The Animated Series episode Trust No One
Godzilla: The Animated Series episode Trust No One
Gender
There was this one Godzilla episode where the H.E.A.T. teams goes into a jungle looking for a lost invention. What they don't know is what they are after is the "mimic", a being that can take on the form of anyone it touches. Chaos ensues as the mimic takes on the form of each of the members, thus ...more

I remember this episode, it was ok, especially for a kids cartoon. The team goes to the jungle (not sure which one), and find an abandoned laboratory, and find records that there was some sort of creature created there, which could mimic anybody just by touching them so it could acquire their DNA, and one is already on the loose.

The mimic changes into various jungle animals, and attacks the French chick (who is muscular, but still attractive) as various animals while she's heading back to the boat, then the mimic heads for the lab in the French woman's form and gets the hacker guy to dig up more info on it by coming on to him/flirting with him (as he has a crush on her), and also acquires most of the rest of the team's DNA before leaving. Later on, once they realize what happened, its funny to see the hacker guy's reaction.

I think there's another fight later on where the French lad fights the creature again in her form, then there's the standard "trust no one" scene where they all gather to try to catch the creature, who is among them. They find it (who is currently in the form of the redhead girl), then it runs away to release its mate (another creature), then the episode ends with it fighting Godzilla, and the main character shooting the creature with some ray/stuff to kill it. Only half an hour, but still pretty good TG and transformations in general.
