"Eleven" is the third live action M2F short film produced by Mako Pictures. The film takes place at a fictional resort called PLEASURE ISLAND, INC. (The story itself is an obvious homage to Pinocchio). Both Peter and Scott, have the time of their lives... but soon come to find out that the resort ...more

While I can't comment on Black Rabbit, I feel that Eleven had the better transformation sequence while The Last Piece Standing was an overall better narrative in style. I am also more fond of the transformed character maintaining their identity in spite of the transformation, but that's personal taste.

To Mako,
Is there any chance that any of your films will be available via some form of Digital Download (Such as iTunes store)

I would love to support you/check these out, but I am not a fan of physical media.

I am really sorry about that, Zeron. I really do want to do this someday too. I'm just always at the end of the creative side of things - and am not usually a part of the distribution side. (Especially trying to finish PARADOX ALICE with any free moment I have)

I might talk to Ray about it tomorrow and see what we can do. I can't disagree with you about physical media. It can be a bit of an eye sore - especially trying to obtain these DVD's sometimes.

I'll get back to you here when I can, and let you know what we've discussed. Thanks so much hanging in there ;)

I love The Addiction, short and to the point. I really don't like seeing writers beat around the bush with the main plot piece and The Addiction is a favorite of mine because the main character loves the transformation and embraces it rather than try and get past it.

I loosely based my Short stories ("Addicted") on Mako's "The Addiction". Love that one!

One of Mako's "Tales from the underground", The Trap, is a follow up of the story.

I would actually prefer to purchase Eleven on DVD. I hope to find it on your website MAKO.
