Hah ! I got this one ! The ending was on time ! Dave was just looking to score , like he was cruisin' for some ass ( he said it in so many words in the story ) and when his partner/co-pilot didn't want in on the fun he kinda put him down a bit .
This book came out about ' 84 : under the E C Comics independant label , so you kind of could expect to see stories and art that had this type of creative edgy ' feel ' to them .
I'm goona pull out some of these old books and ask my friends if they still have them . I got two family members that got some that date back to the early 60's , and they are holding on to them ' til DEATH ! And
they hate the books being sold out here now adays worse than I do .
I was hoping that another story would have been done with these guys , just to see what came of these two . Ern didn't kiss dave .

  1. 11 was the book , but this series had other stories as good as this one as well as artwork .Frank Brunner did some things , too(#8 is the only one that comes to mind and #6 , I think . .)
You even had some ol' school Heavy Metal artists doing somethings . . . .the "wayback " . . .
