This was a considerable Stephen King book . He's always been good
at taking an everyday/anyday situation turning it into hell .
Just as " Cujo " ," Pet Cemetary " , and "the Shining " , only the
movies that had direct input from him did they seem on pace/target
with the book .
As ususual , if you read it , this one wil make one uncomfortable .
Correction : "the Shining " was the reason why king decided to have
more input in movies about his books ; the book , overall , tells
an example of the average American Family structure BREAKING down
and apart ! .He was somewhat disturbed at how the public viewed
Nickolson's performance over the novel's premise .
