Haven't seen the show, just the YouTube clip. It looks like Suguru's gender gets changed, his vioce is different. He is also referred to as a girl.

I think this is firstly and primarily BE. But, as I look, I don't see a Breast Expansion category. Hmmmm. I didn't take this as gender change when I first saw it, just BE. Has anyone seen the whole episode for clarification?

True, he does look just like a girl. But I just assumed this was a side effect of the anime style. Anime/mange generally sucks at doing any partial TG change other than a shemale as the guys are so androgynous that simply adding breasts makes them look female. It makes for visually boring gender changes.

True to some extent. You have to add context, voice changes, and reaction shots. Gokudo is a good example. As a guy, he doesn't look that burly or anything anyway, but his dialogue and behavior are very male. He is turned into a sexy girl twice, and it's his rude behavior that makes for the humor of the situation.

Actually the female voice and use of "she" is from the American dub only. In the manga, he just "grows" breasts. Also, I believe in the original version of the anime (japanese), its is like this also.

I love this whole series soooo much...
In the episode it is right that he starts acting and sounding like a girl. Also subtle indications used in manga/anmie are adjusted to represent he is a girl now. Softening of the faces features rounding of the chin. To be honest he is not an extreamly manly character to begin with but that is more a fact that they render him in a more childlike style which usually is kinda half the female style half male by default.(shape of eyes face ewtc)
Also in this episode the change being more than boobs is expressed in the teachers statment in one point saying "Now I can initiate you into a whole new world and goes off to make him dress/live as a girl...for a few minutes anyhow lol.

I think it should be noted here that like an all other anime/mangas some story lines are diffrently done in the anime then manga some people look at this as not being true to the story others like myself except that the anime is just it's own medium and often it's own stories. Sometimes whole new characters are introduced that ere not in the manga
