Back in the good old days of Ovid GCFL, four of us made a pact to collect and trade stuff freely among us. Paul, Robo, Eric and myself, each had different interest. Paul wasn't much into collecting, but loves to create the tg list that got longer and longer. Robo and Eric were much into short stories and books, while I was into books and videos. So the 4 of us has different area of interest, but by working together, we got manage to collect almost everything we wanted from the list. When others outside of the group wanted to pull a trade, we talked among ourselves and decided what we want in return for the trade.

And the love for tg materials also pretty much helped Ovid GCFL's list and updates too, since we were able to confirm and checked which materials might be tg on a very long "possible" tg list and wanted list we built, and put them on the net and built the list over the few years, and later revolved into this site. At the time, the most detail tg lists were usually closely held, and still is. But we changed that, extract those been confirmed and shared it with everyone else, and everyone else in return add their entries to the list, and help the site grow.

We pulled some nice trades over the years. We might be the first ones in US and Canada that got our hand on "Dating with the Eenemy" when the movie came out, and that we managed to get from PAL(Aussie standard) to NTSC(US/Canada standard) format on VHS tape, and from there to pull trades with others, since we were the only one got it. Eric is the one able to track down every single tg short stories on the list, and shared what he found with us.

Other things we collected recently were all 3 seaons of Friday the 13th the TV series on avi files, both seasons of War of the Worlds(except for 2-3 episodes) on avi, all or most of the tg episodes of Tales From the Crypt series, The Outer Limits and the Twilight Zones(of various series). I also managed to get a very good condition of the book "Forcible Entry" by Stewart Farrar, after searching for it for 8 years, and scanned the whole book into MS Word file, few really old tg movies in black and white that Eric had tracked down, plus all those short stories.

I'm in the process of moving my big tg video tape library into digitial mpeg/avi format. But there's no way I'm going to share with people that's been acting hostile to others on this site, nor just give them away for free without getting something back. People can call me selfish or other things, including the KOI guy that just can't spell right---nor has the guts to get a registered user name. But with the time, money and efforts I've been invested and put into collecting these things I got after almost 20 years of collecting them, there's no way I'm going to give them away for free, period.

Hey The Gambler, how are you man, I`m interested in a trade with you, however if you have collected during almost 20 years its possible that you already have all what I have =S, but I think we can make a deal(money or stuff), how can I let you know my tg library in case you want something of it and viceversa?

I only trade with people I know. Been burned too many times that I sent the stuff to the other party, and got nothing in return. And usually money isn't mentioned or used during the trade, just the goods that both side can agree on.

Besides, what rare stuff you have in your collection? I'm looking for avi/mpeg files of all tg episodes of Poltergeist: The Legacy. I have all of them on VHS tapes, but just too tire to transfer them to digitial files. The release of season 1 DVD happened about few months back, so hopefully season 2, 3 and 4 would soon follow.

Same with Psi Factor episodes, I have all of them on VHS tapes, but too lazy to take the time to transfer VHS quality stuff to digitial files.

Talk about rare stuff I have, I have the whole "Dr. Death" movie on DVD, done by professional transfer firm/company, from VHS to DVD.....

I have that, on both VHS and avi already. I think I got the avi file about 3 years ago. VHS, back when the show was on the air.

The weather was much better than in Germany. They had snow at Black Forest(Schwarzwald-Feldberg)....20 cm (7,8 in). Just airy in Ulleskelf(campsite).
