Comment: Polar Bear, "Winner Taco"
Polar Bear commercial Winner Taco
This was aired in the late 90's and was promoting a new ice cream shaped like a taco, hence the name Winner Taco. The clip features a young man eating said ice cream and slowly transforming into a polar bear. First he gets furry ears, then a big black nose, then his face gets furrier and furrier the ...more

I've always loved this ad but it'd be cooler if we saw more transformation. Obviously it has to be a 20 second clip for TV but there seems to be a big jump from the black nose to becoming a whole bear. The development of paws and an expanding bulk, maybe the reaction of a passer by would have looked good. As for the guy, will he be a polar bear permanently? What will his family & friends think? Why does he accept his new form so happily? That's enough, I'm going too deep ;-)

Haha, ever since I saw this commercial for the first time a long time ago I've pondered those exact questions ;D
I really wish I could find a clip of it somewhere.

I hope you can find the clip, it really is a 'cool' advert, lol.

I'd love it if I bought one of those Tacos and after taking a bite, I felt a wet nose/muzzle form. It'd be cool to grow all the fur and suddenly have my chest barrell. Christ knows what would happen to my insides though, and my paws would be a bit cumbersome.

I don't think they make "Winner Tacos" anymore. I think "Choco Tacos" bought them out.
But if "Winner Tacos" tasted anything like "Choco Tacos" I would buy one in a heart beat. Choco Tacos are sooooo good. It combines the two of the greatest foods in the world, Tacos and Ice Cream
