Comment: Wonder Showzen, "Ocean"
Wonder Showzen episode Ocean
Animal
Most disturbing television show ever. This is a "kids" show which has some of the most twisted and freakiest stuff I have ever seen. AT one point in this show there is a cartoon where a little girl wishes to become a pony, so she can fly to Saturn and talk with Mommy and get she ears pierced and ...more

I can't believe they're getting away with using kids for this kinda stuff. I'm sure the crowd that watches MTV thinks it's hillarious, and I would too if it weren't coming from 8 year olds.

That's just wrong on so many levels...

OMG!!! Tell me that those kids are scripted... I don't want have my faith in the next generation quashed!!!

Yeah, it's pretty messed up. You have to mix it with a few pints to get into the funny and away from the disturbing. On the up side they use transformations regularly like when Jesus turns people into bikini girls including the alterboys in the Bible Brew skit. I have that clip on my site if interested.

Amoung Hindu's Shiva is sometimes worshiped as a "linga", a phallus. One interpretation I heard is as follows: At lot of Hindu symbolism has to do with Shiva's ballancing between involvment in sex and meditation. He does each with extreem intention, and needs to be forced to stop one activity or the other, and the world depends on the ballance between the two.

One time, some sages were trying to convince him to stop having sex and he refused. So the cursed him to become what he was being concerned with.

Somehow, that fortune cookie reminds me of that story. Be careful what you think about.

Sorry, this post is on the wrong link.

And I should have said "message" rather than link on the above comment. Whatever.

I suspect people are interested. Please put it up somewhere. Also, why don't you add it to the database.

I saw the skit before on the pilot of Wonder Showzen called "Kids Show"

Try searching swiftner for his site

There was a review on Salon on Wonder Showzen. It seems weird. I can't say if I'm impressed or repelled.

They kinda go where no one else wants to or is afraid to. I kinda think of it like south park when it came out. It was overly edgy for some, then people got used to it.

JayGee, I added a review just for you. I add things when I have time. Oddly enough it's not one of my top priorities in life when the weathers so nice out.

Thank you. I saw the clip on your site. The line "What would Jesus Brew" was funny. I feel compelled to add that I wonder if the next commercial with Amanda Lockwood could end with "What would Jesus Dew", but maybe not.
