The brother switches with his sister so she can impress his crush
for him and he goes to the dentist as her. There's no focus on the
gender change except for the fact that when he's his sister he has
to go on a date with her boyfriend who is trying the treat on her
with the brother's crush. After a very disappointing day, they
switch back.

I was always surprised someone didn't write a fanfic or alternate
version where Jake decided to stay as his sister and let her play
football as him for the semester, like his friends wanted. Then
he'd have to deal with her boyfriend, she'd start long-distance
dating the japanese girl he'd been trying to impress, maybe one of
his two guy friends would develop a crush on him now that he was
his sister, etc....

I'm tempted to write that "Wow, It's Great in My Sister's Body"
story myself, preferably with Jake and his sister swapped
permanently. No promises, though. Then again, I've wanted to write
a parody of the original Freaky Friday book in which Annabelle is
Hannibal, a boy, who wakes up one morning in his mother's body,
enjoys morning sex with the man who's now her husband rather than
Dad, and stays Mom for life. (Eventually Mom in Han's body admits
to her that, yes, although he's been acting exactly like Han, it's
a full swap, and they're not swapping back --- but they both prefer
being each other so it's okay.)
Maybe I'll write one or both of these someday. Or not.

i have a copy of the "trapped in my sisters body" and my only
complaint is that whenever the brother goes to refer one of his
sisters body parts as his own, he immediately corrects himself and
then refers it as his sisters body part. here's an example:
"i scratched my, i mean my sisters nose."
i wouldn't have minded the first few times but, this goes on
throughout the entire book. i was so annoyed that i took a pencil
and shaded out all the self corrections. those self corrections
made it seem as if it were hiccuping the story.

form online today.

Dude, this book will take you about an hour to read and probably
cost about six bucks. Just buy the damn thing.

I looked for a virtual version of this book (even paid ones, like
Kindle) with no sucesses for a long time.
I live in Brazil, so buying the book is out of question, becase of
the taxes and delivery stuff.
I'm really happy to finaly be able to read this.

I read it ages ago and for $3 for kindle I might get it so I can
write a blow by blow parody. If I remember right some of the scenes
with the pen pal were so utterly stupid they are better avoided
anyway.
