I'm a big fan of Kids in the Hall, and while the troupe dressing up like women was most likely a gimmick inspired by Monte Python I think the Kids did the best portrayal of realistic female characters than any other sketch group before or since. (run on sentence?)

Now, I remember watching an episode of Beavis and Butthead back in the early 90s and seeing the Kids in a music video. The video was Hetrosexual Man by the Odds and it did indeed feature the Dave Foly, Kevin McDonald, and Mark McKinny in a mini TG / Magical Transformation story. Anyway, out of all the K.I.T.H. Dave Foley was arguably the hottest "girl" and in this video Dave it is implied that Dave is transformed into a woman. It's a great video and I haven't seen it in 20 years but now it's available online and I thought I should share.

The thing that's fun about the video is that it's basically a Fictionmania story told in 3 minutes. A mans man goes with his buddies to a club to pick up chicks. Dave strikes out and goes to the bathroom where he is transformed into a woman. He returns to his buddies unaware where they promptly hit on him. Confused he runs off until he catches his reflection. Horrified he faints, but quickly decides he likes the new look. The new girl, accepting her fate, then decides to join the other ladies in the bar and dances the night away as one of them.

It's streaming Windows Media but if somebody knows how to download please tell me how. I'd love to have a copy.
