Comment: Super Smash Bros. Melee, "Zelda and Sheik"
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Size, Gender
If you've played Zelda: Ocarina of Time, you know that Zelda magically disguises herself as a transvestite to hide from Ganon. In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Zelda is included a fighter, as well as her gender bending abilities. You can use her Down B Special to be transformed into her male alter-ego Sh ...more

Does this really count? Zelda is female. Sheik is also female. I mean, just look at the words used in the poster's description. "Disguise" and "transvestite." The description even goes as far as pointing out Sheik's female voice (heard in both Ocarina of Time and Super Smash Bros. Melee). The Zelda/Sheik thing is a disguise. A magical disguise, but a disguise nonetheless.

If disguises count as TG, that's fine, but there's no transformation here apart form the clothes. (Okay, and the eye color. I just don't think Zelda grows a wang.)

Agree with the above comment. If you hit Sheik, she yelps like a girl. If you aim for the crotch, she doesn't even wince (try it. the male characters will actually grin and show visible pain). Sheik is just Zelda with a very tight bodywrap and different colored eyes. Not TG.

Well of course. This was proven Zelda Ocarina of Time (best game in the series). It's really quite obvious even when you first meet Sheik that "he" is really Zelda. Plus, in the first half of the game, people talk about how Princess Zelda is a bit of tomboy.

Sheik is not male. The transformation does not include actual gender, just clothes and appearance. This belongs as "Female" transformation, not Gender.

According to the Zelda wiki, Sheik is a male, but I still don't know if it is truly transformation or if it is simpliy cross dressing.

In Super Smash Brothers Melee, once you beat the game with a character you unlock trophies and biographies for them. Shiek's biography makes exclusive use of feminine pronouns to refer to her.

Moreover, in Ocarina of Time Shiek clearly has breasts. Her character model in SSBM is flat, but as Flip points out wrapping is not out of the question, as Zelda doesn't have particularly big breasts to begin with.

So you might be able to call it CD, but I think that calling it TG is reading too much into it.

I agree spiral. I have played all of them but none of shiek Ihave seen[unless I passed the parts by accident are all guys. but we cant rule out that zelda is just hiding in her persona of shiek.

Zelda's just a quick change artist, Sheik is just a disguise, nuff said.
