post #20 I'm not saying it'll just disappear I'm saying the current
era of AI will be standardized in the future and the "fad"/"trend"
era will fade to be a more homogenized system that isn't trend
chasing

Easy solution, filter your search by video length. Set it to over
20 minutes and I guarantee you there will be no AI videos
Or do over 10 minutes
And over 5 minutes
You will enjoy your searches much more.

most possession clips that are non ai are under 5 minutes.

As someone who is still very much learning about all this AI slop,
I do think that the current situation can be summed up as 'not
there yet'.
I, and probably a lot of you, enjoyed the TF/possession/body
swap/etc part, but the visual presentation of the TF/possession/etc
itself is not the main source of our enjoyment. It's just a part of
it. There's context (what/who the perpetrator or the victim was
before), the 'invasion' (the actual possession part), the immediate
reaction (the part where those melons were squeezed or...well you
get the idea), the follow-up action (the part where the perpetrator
actually does something relevant to the plot), the aftermath (the
impact of those actions), and also the general plot/story itself.
Since most of these AI generated videos are just a few seconds
long, there's absolutely no way that we can get all these parts,
compared to full-fledged video/story we used to have. Some creator
actually tried to tackle these, though, by tying up multiple videos
to tell a more complete story. Sure, the faces can't be kept
consistent and some of the visual looks absolutely (& sometimes
hilariously) bad, but they tried, and as the lover of these
content, i appreciate these guys' effort very much.
My suggestion to the current and future TF/possession content
creators are to collaborate more. We see a lot of exceptional
writer, a lot of exceptional artist, a lot of AI prompt expert, but
most of the time, they're specialists on 1 thing but not very good
at another.
Can you imagine the combined might of Kripto, Neoniez/DATE/Shizumi
Hanako, and GhostPossession24 ?

My 2 cents that no one asked for:
- The main thing that people will have to learn in the dawn of AI
is restraint. Every single thing you create doesn't have to be
shared. 99% of what you create doesn't have to be shared. I would
assume in this community there's quite a few neurodivergent people
in it. Some people need to understand that not everyone can see the
same visuals or the same sounds/dialogue over and over and over and
over, and still get enjoyment from it. If you can, you should
understand that that is not common. It's great if you can enjoy
something for the 100th time the same amount as the 1st, but again,
you can keep a lot of that to yourself.
- Extreme positions are not pleasant no matter what side its on.
I've been in spaces where people start foaming at the mouth and
personally insulting you for bringing up AI. It's stupid and sucks.
I think it also sucks to be in a space where you can't even
question AI and have to act like it can do no harm. That's
misguided and of the naive side IMO.
- Get ambitious, not lazy in the face of AI! The main reason why
I'm so pro-AI (to an extent) is because it opens the gate for so
many people to make obscure or otherwise incredibly difficult
fantasies real. There's a reason we've only had 1 Wren Adams in
over a decade. There's a reason James of 3DoC only has so many
videos just lightly touching on these themes; its because its
really hard to get capable people to invest the amount of effort
needed to bring these things to life. Now everyone has immensely
powerful tools at their fingertips. So rather than churn out
something in 5mins and then immediately share without any
refinement, take some time to really think about what you want to
create. Make plans, work on things gradually. This is what was done
by all the creators you loved prior to AI being a thing. Now you
have the opportunity to be in the ballpark of how good they are
with a fraction of the effort. So raise the bar! Don't lower it.
Its like making cookies: yeah you can eat the dough and be kinda
satisfied, but you know the most optimal experience is going to be
with a little time in the oven.

I say let it be. The people who churn AI garbage will be outshined
by the legitimately creative people that can use Photoshop/After
Effects/Premier. The current AI slop will encourage authentic
creators to come out and shine.
Considering how AI is still in its early stages (despite its
advances in the past 3 years), I'm looking forward to what people
will be able to make from it. It'll be better to encourage it
rather than put it down.

The most ironic thing is AI can solve problem.
Say to GPT, "hey GPT, this is my old html page file, add a category
for AI or at least thread filter for AI."
The real problem is actually this site has never changed for 20
years.
Is website developer dead? Then, how can server be online for all
time?
I remember there was the old time that I can use multiple tag in
the searching tag but it's gone.
Yeah, whether ai contents get better or worse, the problem of this
site will be worse if there is no change for site modification.

Looking at what everyone says I can tell you three points to
enhance the conversation things:
1) AI cannot conjure anything out of nothing, it needs data. Data
needs to be collected for it to give any meaningful result to the
user's queries/prompts. So the main ethical problem is how the data
training is done. Disney just sued Midjourney for pilfering from
it's social media in order to get the data for their character
likeness. That's gonna be an interesting case in the USA, which
will dictate how the law will interpret AI in terms of copyright
law and IP rights of the original creator.
2) So if an artist like let's say Oda (the manga artist for One
Piece) trained data on his own prior work? I think AI is a tool for
artists, a shortcut for all the hours of drawing every cell,
character, and background can he shortended with AI. It's his own
data, it's a timecrunch saving measure.
So if an indie creative like Oda uses AI (using their own prior
hand-crafted generated data), then I think this is an amazing tool
to save artists time and actually give them a chance to enjoy the
fruits of their labour, without overkill workloads
3) The biggest gripe I have with AI is the source of it right now.
Everything is backed by Big Tech, and we all know they love to mind
user data. It's gonna be nightmarish that they collect all that
data...for what purpose, only time can tell.
No, if we go full into an AI future...unless we hit that rumoured
"Dead Internet" theoretical timeline, then if the internet
persists, we need to move to decentralized AI services, smaller AI
databases, run by smaller and more numerous AI companies.
That'd be an ideal future for AI, at least in terms of the creative
business sphere.
I'm neither for or against AI, preferring to have a wait and see
approach to it, witht he small ceveat that I'll always support
indie development of open source alternatives to anything big tech
is involved with.
