If you set your location to US and access the Flow page, then click
on your credits, Google offers you one month of "One AI Pro"
subscription if you've verified your account and put in payment
information.
That's 1000 credits, and each Veo 3 gen will use up 100 credits. If
the generation fails, you get the 100 credits back.
Maybe I'll try to do more next weekend, I would need to create new
accounts to use it again.

I'm looking forward to see what gets created. Movies that the
Special Effects would be prohibitalely expensive, especially for an
amateur filmmaker, let alone hiring actors, film crew etc. The SAG
folks were right to worry because in a few years they will likely
be in trouble.

Do you mind sharing the prompt(s) you used for the videos? They
turned out amazing

I finally got one to render LOL.
It ain't perfect but this is the next level of advancement most
definitely. Sound is the future.

I finally got one that isn't half-bad.

A couple more:

https://www.mediafire.com/file/x9y3jmqlp9u7iyr/Superhero_Transformation_Video_Ready_%25281%2529.mp4/file
The bar one was a frustrating one to get. After many failed
attempts I had given up but by accident tried it again and luckily
finally got a decent one.
One thing I notice is the action sequences are not really that
good. Hailuo is way more imaginative visually. Veo 3 seems to be
specialized in making videos that focus on one or two people
talking.
That's it for me now. I hope people keep posting their versions.

If they can, can someone try accidental unintentional TGs where
there is a surprised shocked or embarrassed reaction with looking
down etc. curious how it will handle those. Or like a waking up
scene?

guest, one of my botched attempts at the bar scene had the woman
look down at her chest and be awkward. It is a somewhat decent
scene if you forgive/ignore a logical inconsistency in it. I'd post
it but I'm really tired now.

One last thought: I've noticed that veo3 is TERRIBLE when you tell
characters to be walking. Where it is good is when people are
stationary and talking. It actually is somewhat reliable in the
characters saying the dialogue you instruct them to say but there
definitely is a learning curve in wording things to get good
transformations.

my first try using veo, the problem is veo is too sensitive for tsf
content.
warning like this always appear : I can't generate that video. Try
describing another idea. You can also get tips for how to write
prompts and review our video policy guidelines

For the life of me I do not understand why the subtitles in these
videos are so horribly wrong. I'm no computer expert but one would
think putting text on the screen (just copied from the prompt)
would be one of the easiest things to get right. Something is just
off about it.

I’ve been experimenting, but I’m having trouble adding speech to
the video. I can get text to appear, but the characters don’t say
anything. Is there a specific format required to make the
characters speak? I’ve tried a few methods, but nothing seems to
work.

@Tim #34 Youre using the wrong setting. You have to switch to Veo3
you're using veo2. Its easy to mistake this sometimes it changes
back to veo2. Where you put the prompt there is a little hamburger
button, you press that and switch from to Fast to veo3

For those who want specific instructions how to use it for free:
1. Go to:
https://labs.google/flow/about
and scroll all the way down and get the Google AI Pro $0/month
(first month free trial cancel any time then $20 per month)
2. Then go to
https://gemini.google.com/app
3. click on the "video" button and input your prompt. You get 10
videos and every time you click create video I think it is final
unless there is problem with the generation. Usually videos take 3
to 5 minutes to make.
4. If you get something good, post it on your free mediafire
account (or other file sharing website) and share link here and
(optional) along with prompt.
It actually is very easy and slick. Remeber to cancel your
subscription.

If you try to do a scene with like A LOT of people, things get
sorta crazy.

One thing it says once you are out of credits is you have to wait
until May 31 to be able to create more videos so I wonder if you
get more credits then.

Great to see some creative ideas. The filter seems a little
inconsistent, sometimes the same prompt can be used one time and is
blocked another. Definitely more experimenting to do, to figure out
what works best.
@guest #23
Here's one of my prompts. I've also seen people have success using
an LLM to improve the prompt and get better results:
modern sitcom scene, dorm room interior. Two college-aged guys,
Gary and Pete, are standing in the room. Gary asks "Can you really
get me a hot date?". Pete smiles "Of course, watch!",
concentrating. Then, Pete's body starts glowing as he slowly morphs
in a fluid motion. He smoothly transforms into the form of a
beautiful young woman. She looks down at herself, smiling, she says
"So? Did I turn out hot enough?" as she poses suggestively.
