I don't know about everyone else, but i'm paying for it and burning
money on trash gens. I'll probably cancel after a month or two as
the novelty is wearing off.

It will be the last in a while because I have burned a stupid
amount of credits. A few tips from my attempts:
- I mostly used Google's Flow platform to generate in Veo 2 or 3.
As a platform it's just about usable.

... videos ran to about 3m 30s. I'd guess they each took 100+
generations, most of which had to be binned. Even more generations
failed due to blocked content. This can pick up all sorts of stuff
- i had to swap out 'help' for 'assistance' in one line of dialogue
because it would not generate someone saying 'help'.
- I often generate a video, which almost gets me to what I want,
then take a frame from partway through that video to generate a new
one. That helps a bit in keeping consistency, but the quality
degrades each time, which is why some of my clips look high quality
and others look worse.
- Trying to create videos this way involves a lot of fighting to
get the AI to do what you want. Editing in Premiere Pro helps patch
up some of the issues. I regularly crop shots, add fake zooms or
camera movement, and drop in additional sound effects or music.
- ElevenLabs and Suno are both pretty generous with free credits
for text, sound effects and music. Both have their limits though.
Using elevenlabs to generate a long piece of voice over is a no
trainer, but getting decent SFX or music is much more hit and mix.
I ended up going to Pixabay for free music on the last video,
because nothing coming out of Suno nailed the style I was looking
for.
- Mostly I'm hoping Genie 3 or something similar is released as a
usable tool for filmmaking, so we can produce short films where the
locations and characters are consistent, and we can put the camera
where we want, rather than relying on what feels like a random
number generator.

But I'll take any tips on how to prompt for a transformation that's
quick enough for the change to be noticeable, but not so quick it's
blink and you miss it.
