The movie was available only on the director's site, he took it down some time ago. My bookmark to his site no longer works, it used to have some information about the movie.

Hate to dig up an old thread... but that feature film version of this finally came out (but isn't called "Sex, Drugs & Natalie Portman" anymore). It's on iTunes, titled "Apocalypse, CA". Pretty sure there's a thread already up on the site here somewhere.

Don't be misleading. Apocalypse, CA is written and directed by the creator of "Sex, Drugs & Natalie Portman" and even borrows themes and character names but it's not a feature length remake.

Not even close. Totally, totally different story.

From: kreplach , 112 months, post #30
True, but the oringal title of Apocalypse, CA was Sex, Drugs, and Natalie Portman. Chad Peter had some hope of getting Ms. Portman to have a cameo in the film through some connetion he had, but either she or her publicity people didn't want her involved in a film by that name. At that point, he changed the title.

I saw this a few times, in its entirety. It was almost just G rated in today's rating system. There were about 3 scenes that left if to your imagination. It could have been on the Disney channel if not for copyright or other commercial infringement besides those three scenes.

For those who can't stand it, the most non G rated was when "she" was caught checking out her new equipment.

Was kind'a fun, but no, NP was not anywhere near in this one.
