So I have a scenario where a devil is sitting next to a woman and
transforms into her to taunt her. But no matter what prompts I use,
I can't ever get the transformation to happen.

For good result of Possession prompt, try this.
this scene is in a run down apartment, a bald man wearing white
tank top chocked the neck of Melissa Benoist supergirl, she close
her eyes and has a very painful expression, then a dark smoke
coming out of her mouth and enter the man mouth. High quality movie
scene.

I'm not sure what kinds of results you all have been getting, but
today has been just been overall bad for me. I don't know what the
problem is...but the system just can't seem to follow directions
today. It seems like 8 times out of 10, when I tell it to transform
person A into person B, person A will just walk out of the frame,
and person B will appear out of nowhere, or walk in from elsewhere.
I'm really not deviating that much from my basic template that I
know works and have gotten really good results from. The system
just seems to be....I dunno, daydreaming today, and it's honestly
been kinda frustrating.

When you use the new site is there anyway to download the videos to
your photos when using iPhone? I click the download arrow and
nothing happens.

I haven't tried the newer site on my phone yet...but I think there
2 ways to download results (on desktop anyway). One is in the lower
right corner of each video result thumbnail, and the other is in
the lower right corner of the page next to the "Delete" button when
you manually select one of your individual results.
Have you tried both? Do bother/either of them even show up? Like I
said I haven't used the new site on my phone, so I'm kinda just
spit-ballin'.

I have been compiling what i have learned here, looking at other
trigger effects( that´s how i came up with wig idea) so we can have
more complex and different animations triggers and scenes. From
what i see, complex prompts yield best results if you let AI (check
box) contribute with the animation (but need confirmation) . But
you got hit jackpot in 2 or 3 tries and then move to a different
prompt. Once you get garbage.. you are done.

Not the best day for me with the AI either.
Leaving this series in case it inspires other ideas. Face tattoos

Is it possible to make a Jagaaaaaan style transformation by the
Yadori (octopus guy) character, where a tentacle comes out from
stomach to absorb a young woman and the character transforms into
her?
I think might be too complicated but I hope if the AI gets advanced
enough somewhat please try it in the future

My hope is that it's just a hiccup and not a result of them messing
with things and/or imposing more restrictions. Sadly I expect
that's what will happen along with adding an expensive subscription
tier and doing things that will makemfree vide generation harder.
Things like excessively loong wait times, small monthly video
limits and the like. I guess we'll see.

Try as I might, I've had no luck getting any results related
to.domeone changing into someone already onscreen. It's like the AI
gets tripped up by what is supposed to refer to what.
