Hi All, dreampress.ai is currently testing a beta mode of it's story engine where you can generate as much story content as you want.

The beta mode is imperfect but it's fun to play with. Um, yes, it does generate NSFW content.

Without thinking, he reached out, his fingers splayed against the cool glass. "I wish I could touch you," he murmured, his voice hoarse with longing.His fingers pressed against the mirror, feeling the resistance of the glass. But then, suddenly, there was no resistance. His fingers slid through, disappearing into the reflection. Ashley gasped, shock racing through him. He pulled his hand back, staring at his fingers, expecting to see cuts or blood, but they were unharmed. Instead, they were... different. Longer, slimmer, with nails that were no longer bitten down to the quick. They were Jimin's hands. Panic surged through him, but before he could react, his hand was drawn back to the mirror, as if pulled by an invisible force. He watched, horrified and fascinated, as his fingers pressed against the glass again. This time, when they disappeared, they took the rest of him with them. His arm began to change, the muscles thinning, the skin smoothing, until it was Jimin's arm, reaching out from the reflection. He tried to pull away, but it was like his body was no longer his own. He was powerless as the transformation spread, up his shoulder, across his chest, down his legs. He watched in the mirror as Jimin's face replaced his own, her dark eyes staring back at him, her lips curved in a soft "O" of surprise.

When the transformation was complete, he—no, she—was standing in the attic, looking at the reflection of a stranger. she whispered, her voice echoing in the small room. Ashley, now fully transformed into Jimin, took a step back, her heart pounding in her chest. She looked around the attic, her eyes taking in the familiar yet strange surroundings. She could feel Jimin's memories, like echoes in her mind, whispering stories of this place, of Ashley. She turned back to the mirror, her reflection staring back at her, alien yet familiar. "What just happened?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper.

Suddenly, a noise downstairs startled her. Footsteps, heavy and deliberate, echoed through the house. Ashley—no, Jimin—froze, her heart pounding in her chest. Whoever was downstairs was coming up.

I've been playing around with it

Is insanely good can bypass chat GPT to do NSFW stories. Make sure you change to explicit and descriptive writing style

I can set my own scenarios and put my own characters and details and it can generate story but by bit. I can edit the AI generated bit to tailor the story to my liking.

While it does do more adult content, I still find this quite lacking. One thing AI struggles with is body swap stories. Keeping track of who is in what body and who knows the characters have been swapped is something LLMing constantly face plant at. GPT4 is definitely the best I’ve seen and it eventually loses the script with long enough stories.

I found the demo amusing and dropped $10 to get enough credits to really play around with it. Noticably worse than free ChatGPT. The story and character generation pieces are really promising, but the underlying tech just isn’t good enough to produce a body swap story. I’ll take GPT3’s G rated body swaps over dreampress’s X rated ones any day.

Maybe will be good in a year or so if the tech improves.

LM studio or Backyard AI are good places to start with running local LLMs. The model you choose depends on how good your machine is.

Well, despite me creating the equivalent of an edgy PG-13 story (kissing, club-type dancing, mentioning breast size & mentioning cleavage when describing an outfit, usage of alcohol by adults), Dreampress decided to block my story from being shared.

What's worse is the system gave no warning of it either during the many hours of creating my story or when I was trying to publish. At ChatGPT will give you a red text blurb with a warning right after you generate a suspicious prompt. I only found out by contacting support and them telling me "take out inappropriate things" without clarifying further. They have a FAQ of pretty obvious things that you can't do with your stories that I correctly, but they still determined I broke some secret rules.

Anybody else trying to invest in Dreampress to get their fix, I'd be cautious. They're apparently not as relaxed as you might think.

How long does it take to generate a story? I've been waiting for 30 minutes and it's still the same.
