Just found another Mexican version of this movie is coming out.

@Guest 74 Good find, but I don't think that counts.
It's a family body swap movie yes, but it's not an exact remake.
They don't go to a theme park for the youngest daughter's birthday.
Plus the Father swaps with the son and the daughter swaps with the
mother. Not exactly same format.

Not really. The article is from September 2023 and Family Swap
didn't release until December '23.

An interview (in spanish) with the actress who plays the mom, it
has some stills from the movie.
She mentions it’s a film for all the family so I wouldn’t expect
any groping or nude scenes like in the original, but honestly that
was to be expected from just seeing the trailer.

Okay, just saw it (I’m from Mexico) and all I gotta say is Le Sens
de la Famille is the better film by far, but that was to be
expected,story is mostly the same, but all the good scenes of the
original are not present, this feels more like a youtube recap, the
swap is instantaneous and they don’t really aknowledge the gender
change at all, (except for one comedic scene of the little daughter
on her father’s body that you can even see in the trailer, that’s
it), the brother on the big sister has little screentime (instead
of showing breasts to a friend he is shown streaming a videogame
and someone comments on “her” nice legs but they only show her
knees, “she’s” not even dressed in anything provocative so really,
don’t expect anything.
The Father in the Mom’s body dresses like an old man the whole
movie and again, doesn’t aknowledge the gender change at all,
there’s no groping, exploration or anything worth in the whole
film, even the “cheating” plot resolves underwhelmingly and much
better played in the original, so if you had even the tiniest hope
of anything worth watching… nope, not even one scene, just watch
the original again and you’ll have a much better time.

I just got home from the movie theater, exactly what post 30 says.
Apparently the parents are really open minded since the son smokes
weed at home in front of them like if he was drinking water. I
would say the movie is a big pile of crap, but that would be
offensive for crap.
