This website is from the creators of StoryAI, and allows now not
only to create stories from text prompts, but now short animated
videos from text prompts as well.
Tried it, and i think with a little more development we will be
having AI's creating videos matching our interests...
What do you think??? have you tried using it???
Best Regards

Definitely will be possible in the not too distant future. Perhaps
a year or two until we can do decent little snippets, and only gets
better from there.

I feel like this tech is good until you find out that they're all
safe locked behind multiple layers of protection to prevent people
from making horrendous stuff, sure you can make it but that means
you need a strong pc which not a lot of people can afford.
A website can crop up with this feature and allow us to make what
we want but that has a high chance of it being paywalled, I like
the concept but there's so much negatives to it that it feels
useless at the end of the day

I used some chat websites last summer for transformation fantasies,
using the AI as a partner and to add randomness to the story. It
was a lot of fun, but the context size was often a problem and of
course on some sites, most of the stories ran into the NFSW filter.
Recently, I have been using LM Studio on an M1 Pro MacBook Pro with
16GB of RAM. Nothing special, but it runs 7B models great and will
probably run 13B models if optimized a bit. Mistral/Dolphin 7B has
been quite good and has a 16K token context length, which is
entirely sufficient for a pretty long story.
So, yeah...this is just text for now, but that's fine for me. It's
possible you'll have something like holodeck some day and create
interactive VR experiences with AI. It's not without downsides
though - I think fantasy worlds will be even more addictive than
video games, so we might be facing something similar to a drug
addiction problem some day.
One idea that I have had is to turn these chats into stories.
There's always at least one NPC (the AI) and a world setting of
some sort, but every time I use the same story, it tends to be
different. So, I think people who enjoy a story written this way
might also enjoy trying the same setting and see where it takes
them.
LM Studio is great. It's free and it's easy to load an uncensored
AI, write a system prompt to set the scene and characters and have
a good time.
7B isn't perfect though. Last year, the main issue was context
size. This year, that's no longer an issue. I think next year, AIs
will be smart enough (but you might have to upgrade your computer,
if you want to run an advanced one locally).

This! I mean, just look at Sora. If I had to take a guess, I would
say we are less than 5 years away from this thing being able to
generate full movies.

post #5 True it definitely will get there but there is this
underlying issue of people to not be able to make what they want
just because the barrier to entry is high

just imagine a "writing.com interactive" in which you choose the
next path and the AI creates the next chapter...you could build a
"limitless" story based on your feedback and exactly following the
path you want...
i feel enthusiasm and fear at the same time when thinking about
it...

post #7 it's like that dungeon crawler story app on the app store,
I do hope one day the AI can be considerate enough with the story
that it doesn't sound dull which is my pet peeves right now with
these types of writing bots
