Doing my annual check on the imdb, to see if some new f2f content might have been released, I found this series: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt27704569/episodes/?ref_=tt_ep_epl
Haven't watched it, but apparently in the last two episodes a man called "Rahim" takes over the body of a woman called "Isa".

You got the names interchanged. Isa most definitely is a male name since it's the Arabic equivalent of Jesus.

You are correct, I mixed up the names completely. An actor named Rahim Omar plays Isa who takes over the body of Mel played by actress Nabila Huda.
But as I was saying, m2f was not what I was looking for. So this will most likely my last entry in this thread.

can i ask how did you find this on imdb? how or what search words were you searching that led you to finding out about the show?

In this case, a simple advanced search https://www.imdb.com/search/title/
Selected: Genre "sci-fi", some title-types, narrowed down the release date window to a single year and only used the word "body" in the plot option. There are only 50-100 entries each year with this. But as I said, I do this once a year, and have been doing this for several years now. But the main point to take form this, is to use advanced search, and explicitly search within the "plot" for certain words, as well as narrowing your search further by only searching in a certain genre. Horror and sci-fi are usually the ones for body swaps etc.

thanks for the tips. after playing around with it, I will add that searching multiple genres at once yields less results for some reason. So a heads up that searching a specific genre one at a time yields more results.

Well, if you select multiple genres at once, you will only get results for films that are categorized under all the chosen genres.

that wasn't obvious at first but yeah thats what i eventually realized. So not specifying any genre will yield more results.
