Also, not sure of the issue, but in the Sonic Mega Collections' gallery of covers from the comic, there is a cover showing a sequence of Sally in a capsule turning into a robot as Sonic looks on

Issue #29 appears to be as close to that as I've been able to find to match the description.

I don't know about the Sonic comics much (unfortunately), but in the Sonic the Hedgehog Saturday Morning cartoon, Bunny is partially roboticized, and Uncle Chuck manages to keep his mind, though it takes awhile for him to overcome the brainwashing.

There was one episode where Robotnik kidnaps Princess Sally, then turns a robot into a duplicate of her to find out ther resistance's home base, even scans Sally's brain so the robot can do a decent imitation of the princess. Though the robot gets zapped partway though the episode, so Robotnik loses track of the robot's location, but can still see through its eyes. Eventually Sonic figures it out, then leaves the robot in Sally's place before she's roboticized, and after that the Sally robot goes berserk and starts shooting stuff.

For a cartoon, it was somewhat grim, as the bad guy Robotnik frequently turned various people into his robot slaves, and by the end, they've still got no way to reverse the process.

I like how you put up the message: Be warned! That site is INFESTED with pop up windows and who knows what other nasty stuff.

I opened it and there was not one pop-up (due to my various pop-up blockers).

It also looks like your site is doing well for being out of commission as it says on your homepage.

I dont recall my website having a notice that it's "out of commission"

And the popup's are actually "pop-unders". They appear on the task bar but do not show themselves visibly otherwise.

Nah, I'm referring to http://sekhmet.net/, yeah it doesn't say "out of commission" it says "arriving in June". It seems like three or more pages are working, but the main page doesn't let people in

That site home page has been there for years now. I have a number of things tucked away behind it besides the "media" pages. I have several other domains that I've done the same thing to - an uninteresting top page and private links hidden behind.
