It looks more like a witch's doll and I think Saint might be right.
I was hoping we could infer more about the story since there has
been so little press on there. I am eager to learn where lalol/lola
works. I doubt it will be a men's magazine, as those seem to have
gone the way of the dodo bird.
The few photos I've seen have looked encouraging. The actress is a
fitness model and posts phots in next to nothing attire all the
time. I am guessing and hoping it means that Lola will have a
wardrobe that is a little tighter than most of her characters in
other versions.

im just hoping the producers keep the swap angle from later in the
series, when they reveal lalo didn't become a female version of
himself but rather thath he had become daniella calori, a rich girl
who had cheated on her fiancee

Surprised that so little has leaked out about this. Not spoilers,
per se, but things like where Lola works shouldn't be a secret.
Looking forward to learning more about this version of the series.

Because it's a telenovela and it's from outside the US, leaks from
them never click, so why worry about it when the entire industry in
the US has stopped.

Most versions of Lalola include a great moment where Lola gets her
clothes stolen at work and has to walk around topless and I’m so
curious if they’re gonna use that in this new one

@ Merlina Post 92. It will be interesting how they handle that in
2024 as it is a bullying scene. I doubt it would make it in the
USA. It is an important moment because it leads to the Lalola
character embracing a more feminine wardrobe to fit in at work. She
comes dressed a little sexier to establish her place in the pecking
order after this. The lesbian encounter also kinda does the same
thing, and the double date with Grace all kinda out LLL into
positions where she has to dress very feminine. The real life
Barbara Regal is a fitness model, so I would imagine we will see
her in more revealing outfits than some of the other Lalolas.

In this version, won't it be easier for Lalo to fool people into
thinking Lola really exists since his daughter will probably be the
first person he convinces that he's now a sexy woman? Also, who's
clothes is he going to wear to his job on his first day as Lola? I
wouldn't think he would be able to wear his daughter's clothes. In
the other versions, Lalo usually borrows some of Grace's clothes
and wears them on his first day as a woman. I guess you could say
maybe he could wear some clothes that a one night stand had left at
his house/apartment.

One of the problems I have with the series is no one is going to
hire a woman with no ID or background in a professional field.
It would be better if the new woman were forced into taking more
menial jobs for a female. Babysitter, barmaid, house cleaner and
such.

The series has a feminist agenda, unfortunately, and one thing they
want the character to do is compare working at the same job as a
woman. If there was a complete change of jobs you wouldn't get that
comparison.
