On the above conservation:
Are you guys really being serious? If you want a submissive MtF
this show is not for you. Lalola is about a high powered career man
who get to be in the same high powered position even after changing
gender and getting a new identity. Even if we take into account
that at the end she end up with a boyfriend that is in higher
position than her (my memory of the plot is a bit hazy but I
remember Facundo got promoted to a position even higher than Lola
after Lola (who was offered it first) rejected it as she thought
Facundo was more suited), that doesn't make her "submissive" or
anything since she is still a high powered career woman. It's not
like she became housewife or something.

Unfortunately for some of us this show is aimed at a female
audience who see a man in a woman's body having to work harder to
come by the same success that came easily as a man. The good news
is that it has been very popular world-wide and we are seeing lots
of versions and now even a remake.

It's complicated, Casmir. Bhaskar does go back to being a man. But
then the last scene has Bharti show up to get together with the
male love interest, so it seems like they were made into two
separate people. It was pretty weird and kind of a copout.
Neither one becomes a housewife though. There was a long plotline
where Bharti is mistaken for a dude's wife and gets roped into
their family drama, but that was about it. The Indian Version
really went off the rails.

Can you deduce anything from the photo TheSaint shared? Barbara de
Regal is the only one wearing a skirt. She has a pad of paper and a
pen in hand. There are playing cards on the table. She is also
wearing high heels. By the way she is sitting, she is not
acclimated to skirts, but is wearing one anyway. There is a doll on
