Kripto has written a new story for a commission on Outfox, called
'Trying Something New'. "A bodyhopper husband and wife decide to
spice up their sex life by possessing a mother and son."

From the website:
This is a premium story! Only users who contributed to it or have a
subscription can read this one.

Stories get done all the time, like this one, and you can withdraw
contributions if you want to (admittedly just back to site credit
for now, but still). I won't post commissioned stuff again though,
just when it opens up to be free a month or so later on. :)

The site is for commissions, which is why the stories are paid.
Completed commissions stay behind a paywall for a while, but we'll
make them free eventually.
When I started building the site, I figured that there were lots of
free story sites, but not a lot of places where authors could take
requests for $. As an author myself, that was limiting my output.
Obviously it's not for everybody, and that's okay!

Well with an author of Kripto's talents they should be making some
money somewhere. I haven't signed up yet (so I have no idea how
much a premium account or anything is yet) but I do like the idea
of the stories becoming free after X amount of time....video sites
should do that too.
That's kind of the problem with this community, when we find
something new one person buys it and we share it or we buy it and
never talk about it. Creators need feedback. Not all of them are
deep into this stuff, but as with anything if there's a market for
it (if anyone sees money could be made) then more stuff gets made.
The more that's made and more feedback gets us better content until
we hit peak content or money dries up.
If creators spent time and effort on something (no matter if it's a
story, comic, video, or even a drawing) and see it for free
everywhere immediately they're less likely to make something like
that again.
And I get it, not everyone has a vast amount of cash. Those video
sites are like $1 a min and the first 5 min are almost a waste and
sometimes it's really a gamble on if it's even a good video or not.
But even those, why buy a video that was made 3 years ago for the
same price as something new when the story is bad, effects are
terribly dated (if there are any), and a slew of other issues.
Just don't be the type of person to resell someone's videos or buy
from people like that. Support the actual creator.....I've been
seeing that issue pop up a lot on spank bang.

Kripto here. Just adding my two cents. I would think outfox's site
would be appreciated, especially in this forum. It's pretty much a
crowd sourced patreon that anyone can jump into and request a story
for a price, or write a story and get paid. And almost all the
requests I've seen center around bodyhopping, transformation. Plus
other people can jump on board and add funds to help get it
written. People's requests have given me fresh ideas and scenarios
to work with, and I've gotten really good feedback, which I
appreciate immensely.
But when it comes to money and paywalls, I get it. I like free
things too. For the longest time I didn't want to receive income
from my works. But our present day economy has forced me to
reprioritize. So now I'm looking at the ideas and concepts in
requests, as well as the funding behind it. The good news is that
if you don't want to pay to read my stuff, just wait a bit. I'll
always post it for free after an exclusive window at outfoxstories.
And unless the mods have a problem with it, I'll let everyone know
here when I drop a new story. Speaking of which, I'll be submitting
a new one in a few hours called Stealth Control: Takeover.

Kripto, totally get where you're coming from. You could always edit
and package up your Shudder stories to sell on something like
Smashwords. Speaking of Shudder, any update on that series? Really
looking forward to where you go with the next part of that series.
The outfox website is interesting, but a "how it works" page would
benefit it greatly. Right now, there is no onboarding for new
users. How do I commission? How do I write? What are the payment
options? What do you get for a subscription? None of those
questions are really answered on the site, and if they are they
seem to be buried and not up front. Some more information in the
About section, or link on the main page to a "how it works" page
would be beneficial. With something like Patreon, you know what
you're getting access to with your pledge by seeing the tiers on
the Patreon page.

Totally agree Anon, we'll add much better onboarding and clearer UI
in the next few weeks. All good ideas.
We launched super early without a lot of things neat and tidy
because it lets us get feedback (like yours!) to know what to
prioritize next. Even comments like H's 'money pit' are useful. It
made me think "Oh no, why is it coming across like that? Can we fix
that?".
I realised that it felt like that to H because we currently make
users contribute up front. Then they have to wait (sometimes
months) until an author writes their story commission, so it feels
like they are paying for nothing for a while, and they get annoyed.
Easy fix! We'll change the system so that users can *pledge* to
contribute to a commission, but we won't actually take payment
until the story is posted. That way they only pay when the story is
ready, and if the story is never written, nobody has to pay
anything. No risk of losing money if a commission sits there for a
while. That's a much better way of doing it, we'll be making this
change next week!

Outfox Stories is a scam! They promise to pay but don’t! Don’t
support them!
