I think people here have big expectations

Like idk if its a recent thing or what, but im getting kinda tired of, "oh this show may have a body swap/possession episode" and then the show comes out and people get upset that the show didn't have any tf content and its like nowhere did they promise any of that

Or when a company does offer a body swap/possession content in one of their shows the expectation go through the roof
"I hope they do this, this that, I hope they do this really sexy thing like dealing with big boobs and a saved ass" like my guy, sure that'd be hot and stuff, but think for a moment woule a show that on syndication really do any of that, at MOST they'd prolly make a boob joke or something

The absolute worst offenders are when a show promises a body swap and its not what people were expecting, they get upset that oh no tommy didn't strip naked the moment he became Elizabeth, like this isn't porn my guy, like the tf genre for us is a fetish, but to the general public its just a fun trope, of course theyre going to have more fun with the trope rather than use it to do weird shit with it.
Hell it used to be super common for their to be perverted implications when body swaps would occur in media badk in the day, but I think those moments became less and less because theres been an increase interest in fetishizing it, possibly weirding out mainstream producers from ever creating content, but ya thats just my 2 cents on the subject

this could apply to any form of tf content. there's also the fact that vfx budgets have gone down. for example, old m2f tfs would show the breasts growing etc. studios going cheap makes a lower quailty project overall. could be another reason too.

Agree completely, it gets tedious when there’s any kind of tg element it’s tossed aside “ugh. Boring. They didn’t even get naked” and it’s some Nickelodeon sitcom.

Any kind of mainstream stuff is fun to me because I set my expectations accordingly.

i agree with the budget thing, i miss good ol tfs, like now a days its all and suddenly the are the other person, but yeah its stupid getting dissapointed because the characters didn't began fucking in a 7am episode of the haunted hathawways

I guess I’m easy to please, lol. You throw in a little whoosh whoosh spirit swap effect on a thing and I’m happy

It's also the fact that they get a lot of time crunch with these shows so they need to be creative with the effects
