Questions about custom videos?
From: guest (OwlHunter) , 25 months, post #1
I been wondering did anyone order or bought a custom before? I want to know your thoughts about it. Did you like, love, dislike, hate or wish there was more into these videos. I like to know because I recently order a custom and can't wait to see it. But sometimes I worry that it won't live up to what I have inside my head because I don't have the greatest writing into storytelling. If it does turns out okay, I'm still worry that someone out will steal or sell it for free somewhere out there in the internet. I will feel mad and sad because the amazing person who is making this lovely content well get rip off by some asshole out there who thinks all porn should be free. This shouldn't be the case because these amazing content creators are trying their best to bring our fantasies to life and should be pay for it.

I bought a couple of clips from certain content creators that were probably requested by someone. I think it's a good way to encourage them to keep doing them. Never shared any of them.
Sometimes it's the content creator themself who publishes it for public and free access in order to promote their content. We just have to respect that, it has to be them who share it so that they get revenue.

Personally I like the ones where a man and a woman who have swaped bodies have sex and keep in character, unfortunately most of the times we just get to see a "possessed" woman. I assume it's more expensive to hire two (or more) people and get them to have sex.

We just need to keep encouraging them and reward quality content.

I have comissioned a couple on only fans. One was great and the other was just okay. I don't regret doing it and I will probably do it again.

I've commissioned a number of them - since I wanted something specific I wasn't seeing elsewhere. - Each producer is different. Some actresses get into the scripts I've submitted some just robotically do whats in the script. Its quite hit or miss.

Unfortunately it is expensive but, when you think about all the work involved it really isn't you're paying for the actresses, the location, the equipment needed and all the editing - so paying upwards of $500 for a custom 20 minute video if you think about it is not bad considering the logistics.

However yeah quality can be good or bad. Find a studio that produces stuff you like with actreses and editing you like and take give it a try.

Most studios I've worked with retain the copyright to the video - that's normal and it gives the producer content to try to sell to help keep prices cheaper - some producers will create a custom video without ever publishing it for resale - but expect a very hefty fee to compensate for additonal sales lost on their part.

If you have a custom video produced do not expect it to not be immediately shared on the internet by someone else that bought it, reposted or iis even re-selling it at your expense.

That's my experience - and if you do produce a custom video the last thing I'd do is post about it on a board like this. Because everyone and their uncle will ask you to share it for free or complain that $20 is too expensive when you've spent minimum $500 per video.

What if you guys who are known and trusted clients of the studios (or are representatives of them) suggest that people like us could submit script ideas for videos? Then if they think those fit their values, they could assess the costs of making it and obtaining some revenue. This way we could crowdfund them, kickstarter's style. They need to be reliable though, so that the people who funded projects that never saw the light could have their money back.
Could be fun, everyone gets what they want, we get to improve our scripts and get original ideas and we could potentially make more videos and cheaper. Wouldn't be "custom made" but would always be as close as we want.

Not really interested in investing time in custom videos scripted by someone else. I have enough issues writing my own specifics let alone someone else's preferences - a group of people would be a nightmare - if ya want it I suggest producing it your self and then being heartbroken when you see it posted for free knowing that will eventually cause the costs of your future videos to skyrocket and the armchair critics to complain. I've seen every video I've paid hundreds of dollars show up on sites like this either being resold or given away for free. I'm not doing MORE work for those reasons.

Well, I wasn't saying that you should be a part of that. I was saying that you could tell that business idea. I mean, I am not saying that you couldn't submit your scripts and pay the full cost. In fact if the volume of business increases as a result of the kickstarter approach the costs could decrease and would be cheaper for the ones who don't want to take part in a crowdfunded video.
Sumarizing: Someone submits a script, the studio assesses content and estimate cost, if accepted the script is published alongside with other scripts in the webpage to raise fundings until the goal for the video is reached. It gets produced and distributed to the ones who funded and put for sale.
I don't see how you would be negatively affected. You could always pay the full price.
