Hey Guys ™ , Just want to know , If anyone keep special effects into consideration while going through TF possession , like as an Audience we can see on screen ghost and it is possessing someone preferably of opposite gender . Tell me your desired special effects in possession ?

Me like ghost as a transparent medium where we as an audience can see it on screen and while possession scene happen It looks good when that transparent on screen ghost merge with the opaque Body of flesh and bones .

I like the mtf and ftf ones. The effect is preferred when the start, process, and end times are shown. In addition, I prefer those that contain elements of the sci-fi and horror genres.

Agree with post #2, I lilke possessions where the possessor is transparent and merge with the body. I love ftf the most, but my favourite kind of possession is when the possessor turns from opaque to translucent and merge/enter the target's body, plus points for instant possession without the target fainting and waking up with the "new personality". Additional plus point is once the possession is completed the target's eyes turns into a different colour, NOT those kind that just turn black.

A black smoke swirling and entering someone through the mouth/nose (aka Supernatural style) is definitely my personal favorite.

Agreed with post #4, black/white/altered eye color afterwards are always nice, but not the most focal point of what i desired most.

Me personally like Human to Human Possession , Not demon or parasite possession as per special effects is concerned , I like special effects in which human form is not transparent but opaque but as soon as possessor human contact the victim he kind of merge into the victim and finally absorbed into victim body and in conclusion victim adopts the personality of possessor .

I suppose it would depend on how the possession functions. For demons, Supernatural's possession special effect is good. It wouldn't be as good for a ghost.

Heroes did it by showing Peter being physically pushed into a guy and just phasing right into him like he was an empty space. That worked well I think.

The 1998 movie Fallen didn't even have a special effect but it was obvious the exchange happened because of sufficient explanation of the ability through the story and the affected person immediately stopping what they were doing and acting different.
