My Stolen Life is finally airing tomorrow night on Lifetime. I
assume it will be streaming after that.
Very curious to see how similar it is to the rough cut. I thought
Nicole Marie Johnson did an excellent job as the twins - strong,
smart, sexy. The early portion of the movie was best with the evil
twin settling in to her new life while her sister was suffering.
Things kind of fell apart later as the plot didn’t quite make sense
and in fact didn’t match the description of the film (where was the
obsessed fan club head?). All in all, a very good addition to this
genre.

The new series Pretty LIttle Liars Original Sin on HBO Max has an
evil twin plot. It seems similar to the I Know What you Did Last
Summer remake last year. One of 2 identical twins is killed and
then its not clear if the surviving twin is masquerading as the one
who actually died. Pretty Little Liars has always had themes of
twins from the books to the original tv series.

I haven’t watched yet but a lot of content to get through (7 eps
@45 min each). Plot is that twin sisters have been switching lives
periodically for many years and then 1 goes missing. Not sure if
they are allies or enemies or how the story plays out. Definitely a
trope we’ve seen before but usually just an episode or movie not a
full series. Its also treated like pretty serious filmmaking unlike
the typical Lifetime movie of the week. Excited to watch it!

If you haven’t tried out ChatGPT yet, I highly, highly recommend
it. You can get a custom story on this topic and you can get it to
fit exactly your preference. Sometimes it tries to block you if
you’re being too evil/violent/amoral etc. But often times with a
little persistence you can get there. I find it best to start mild
and work my way up bit by bit. For example a story about twin
sisters. Then tell it to make one of them evil. Then tell it to
have her plan to swap places. Etc.

Fully agree with @Delweb. I have 2 Evil Twin Sister stories running
at ChatGPT. Amazingly, if the AI suggests NSFW content, it is okay
and doesn't get flagged. And the AI can be a very very bad girl. I
currently have my villain shopping for lingerie for her replacement
of her good twin for an upcoming night of passion, and the AI knows
so much more about lingerie than I do. LOL.

This isn’t one of the best of the genre but I suspect this group
will be interested nonetheless. Not too often you get triplets, one
is evil two good. It’s a bit convoluted and missed opportunities
IMHO but easy to check out on YouTube.

saw the movie it really dosent have the plot where the twin
replaces the other twin , are there some spanish shows where this
plot happens , as in american shows it happens less

Yes, I saw Dual recently as well. The plot is good and the script
is even decent. However, the direction and acting are just
terrible. Everything is flat and dark and purposely “unsexy” I
think. A real shame given Karen Gillan is a talented actress and
can be quite appealing (see Jumanji). Just a waste of a good
concept and plot unfortunately.
