Plot twist: Your mom has ALWAYS been your dad. They swapped bodies on the night you were conceived (due to an ancient family curse), and your dad is the one who gave birth to you.

If you ever conceive a kid of your own, the same fate will happen to you...

There was a story on FM about a Dad who could possess people, and he possessed his wife and daughter in the first part of the story. He can turn himself into some kind of energy that can flow into someone.

His son is then "let in on it" once he gains the ability. The Dad shows him how to do it on his wife, then de-possesses, then lets his son possess his wife to try out his new power.

Where is the mom if he has possessed her? If she has not swapped bodies with him what is going on with his body if he is her and they have not swapped?

It's not exactly body swap. The dad has his soul either transferred to the mom, while body is unconcious or the dad turns to a ghost-like figure and possesses the mom by phasing into her or literally entering her body.
