This looks like the Korean remake of "Go Princess Go" that we have
been waiting for. I believe you can watch it with subtitles at
vikipass.

When the queen is thinking, the voice is male.
There has not been a scene in which she actually speaks in male
voice

The male inner voice of the protagonist has disappeared halfway in
the series, signifying her acceptance of her new identity.
She has also obtained the memory of the original queen, after which
she toned down a lot of her modern attitude and became less
critical of the customs of the settings.
She also finally has sex with the king.

As late as episode 6 the queen is still thinking with male voice
but started from episode 7 the thinking voice has been changed to
female voice.

strike from the broadcasting authority.

In the history King Cheoljong died at 33 and the Queen Cheorin
lived 10 more years after the king's dead. This history, in
addition to the ending can provide enough ingredient to start the
next season.

No, in this drama the time travel has changed the history. The king
is now remembered as a wise king instead of an incompetent
womanizer like in the real life.

it's really telling that the source novel has been adapted TWICE,
including the first adaptation which has three endings, yet none of
the FOUR endings follow the novel's ending where the modern playboy
stays in the past & live happily ever after with her husband.
