The process or what happens after
From: guest , 44 months, post #1
I just want to ask to those who likes transformations, what you like more, the transformation process or what happens after.
I have talked with a few people about this and looks like most of them likes more the process and dont care much what happens after.
Personally Iike both but Im more interested on what happens to the subject after the transformation and how their life is affected by said change, so I don't care much if its a poof change or offscreen change, just want to see what happens next

I don't care at all about the process. I like what happens after.

I like both, but I'm more about what happens after and the struggle to adjust and cope with the new reality. That's why I don't really like identity death type stories or stories where the person accepts it really quickly. Too many stories just shrug it off.

There's also only so much you can write about the details of the process without getting repetitive, however, I do like a solid description of the change, and especially the transformee's perspective and thoughts about the change as they are happening. So I guess the emotions and emotional aftermath of the change matter more to me than the physical description of it.

I like stories with detailed transformations too, I used to read some good ones on writing.com before it sucked, but that stories almost always ended when the transformation completed itself then the guy suddenly was a happily married wife and no one remember who she used to be, not even she, and that was basically the end of that branch of the story.
I see that most stories with the "slow change" tag are like that, when the transformations ends the story ends too.
I don't like either the stories where NO ONE its aware of the change not even the transformee.
