So, has Miss Evie Hyde finally did what everyone probably feared
within the world of creators who set up a paywall for content and
taken the money and ran? And even worse; giving a half-assed excuse
to hide behind "mental illness"? Seriously, this person should be
blacklisted from the community.

well.... that is a strong accusation and mental illness is nothing
to claim as false.... not trying to sound rude but ease up there
because we don't know whats going on with someone... but I did look
at her blogspot and it does seem very sketchy and jumbled... "Wish
I could refund you but I cant" AFAIK patreon creators have the
choice to refund backers.. sketchy...

I mean people who center their lives around a fetish like this is
entirely possible there is some mental illness. I have had to back
of because of it myself.

This is why I never backed any Patreon creators or was interested
in doing so. Just because something has tg in it doesn't make it
instantly good, there's a lot of duds out there.

Being personally a member of her patreon club and a long time fan
of her work, I will say that I'm sad to see her go But we must
acknowledge that she is a wonderful creator who have been
contributing to this community for years now, mental health is no
joke and should be taken seriously and none of her past actions
ever hint at it being fake, she did make some awesome premium
content for us patreons and I'd happily subscribe to her again, All
her free stuff is still there it's not like she put that behind a
pay wall like wren Adams did..... I can't belive I have to defend a
genuine creator on this platform, I hope she's back soon and she
will be dearly missed.

She has posted on her blog to say she is refunding all of her
Pateons and has written a more detailed post about her reasons for
quitting. Hope that is all true.

Just looked at her twitter (deleted while still active) Sorry but
taking money and not even refunding when there is always an option
and then hiding without an explanation, to me, makes whatever the
reasoning is, B-S regardless. And to charge for captions?? No I'm
sorry but that is not worth a charge. Especially asking for money
during this whole virus thing comes off as predatory.

She did give an explanation and she did refund everyone, so it's
definitely not about the money..... And its her choice to whether
to charge for her caps or not.... Like it's your choice to choose
to pay for it or not.

Allie, maybe show a little compassion and understanding.
Firstly, she continued to post content to Twitter that was free and
available to all of her followers. I continued to see multiple
posts a day up until she decided to leave.
Secondly, the creation of her Patreon did not in any way impact the
frequency of her free twitter posts. Her Patreon seemed like it was
her putting in a lot of additional effort to make a series of
stories and captions that would be worth it for her followers. As a
patron of hers, I could say that I was very satisfied with the
quality of these stories, and felt it was more than worth the price
of admission for daily content of that caliber.
Lastly, we are not entitled to anything that she produces. She does
not owe us anything, and certainly not for free. She has provided
this community with decades worth of content from her own personal
time. You note that people asking for money during all of this
comes off as predatory, but stop short of considering what her
personal financial situation may be. I am more than happy to
support her if she is in need.

Wow Allie - you come across as a really unpleasant person. What
contribution have you made to the TG community for the last 20
years like Miss Hyde/Argus has? I've been following her since her
Yahoo group days and I have decades of free hot stories and
positive interactions. Clearly she screwed up this week which is
not bad for how much stuff she has put out.
You don't like her stuff? Then don't read it. Seriously WTF?
