In the end, the son, whom is cursed to transform into his mother on
the full moon, learns to live with the curse, whilst his mother
learns of it, and they accept that every now and then there are two
mothers. Classic story.

this is actually inaccurate, but i'm only correcting because i
really like the ending. the neighbor who curses the narrator to
become his mom feels bad but unfortunately can't reverse it, so she
becomes him (every full moon like he does with his mom) and yes,
like you said, his mom learns of it so she becomes the neighbor
every full moon so no stone is left unturned

Actually that's wrong too.... The neighbor doesn't feel bad and
becomes the boy at every full moon night. It's the boy who bites
his neighbour thus passing on the curse. Hence, she is also forced
to become our protagonist every full moon night. The mother comes
to know abt this and then volunteers to be the neighbour every full
moon night. Thus, each fill each other's shoes once is a month...

If you look at another thread on this message board, “Bodysuit
comic on DeviantART” the stories prominently feature two boys who,
after having acquired a bodysuit gun, regularly assume the forms of
grown women. Their favourite suits are of their mother and aunt.
Initially their mother was turned into a suit which the younger boy
wore most frequently. She was restored after a couple of days along
with the aunt, but they still use copies of them on a regular
basis.

Though not a shapeshift, check out The Copycat 1 by hvk6589 on
Fictionmania. The main character of that series utilizes bodysuits
to turn into various women. This is one of many parts in the series
where he turns into his mother.
