When I was 13, I found I was expected to excel at sports and be
tough and fight, all things I hated. I noticed that girls were not
expected to do any of those things. I also was obsessed with the
female body, and the idea that a woman would ever let me look at
her body, let alone touch it, seemed impossible. It occurred to me
that if I were a girl, I wouldn't have to act tough or play sports,
and that I'd have access to a naked woman's body constantly, even
if it were my own. I began to fantasize ways I could be
transformed, which went on for me to think about ways other people
could be as well. It never left me.

I have an early memory of drawing myself turning into Wonder Woman.
I think superheroes were a definite part of my early sexual
development.
I find the idea of transferring superpowers to be very hot.

I feel like as kids, growing up in the kind of conservative North
American sexual culture where those images are heavily shielded to
children, and we see things like Shaggy getting the body of a
woman, and they play sensual music and/or insinuate bodily
attraction, that kind of ingrains it in our minds, subtly giving us
the idea of what we should be attracted to since we have nothing
else to really work with besides 'guys like big boobs and butts',
especially since we were young and our sexuality was still
developing. Everyone here is just people who went the extra mile
and discovered what the fetish was.
But not a psychologist, or anything remotely close, just my
opinion.

Probably started when I was 7-8 years old and i watched the
original Freaky Friday with Jodie Foster. For some reason (at the
time I didn't understand) I thought it was really good this teenage
girl was now in a woman's body (and had the outfits and hair to go
with it). A few years later I remember a "Gummy Bears" episode on
Disney channel in which one of the bears wears a magic hat and
transforms into the beautiful blonde princess and the other older
female bear in the crew. I also really like this (again, not sure
why at the time). It all really came full circle for me after
watching Sex Files Alien Erotica, which I did watch shortly after
puberty and realized I loved the idea of F2F.

I also start with the the original Freaky Friday with Jodie
Foster. It was the was exciting and intense feeling about the idea
of being a woman and the F2F.
Then Maya of Space 1999 it was like Mystique of the X-Men.Having
that concept i get excited thinking i how man woman i can
shapeshift and act as her.

I also remember seeing magician Doug Henning saw two women in half
on TV when I was five or six. One was black and one was white, and
he switched their bottom halves. They just kind of shrugged it off,
like this was how they were going to be from now on. I think that
played heavily into my love of transformation.

it's funny because i remember seeing things like Sword in the Stone
as a kid and finding the transformations exciting. however, I have
no memory how I found nifty.org and fictionmania was I was around
14. i was never actively interested in this before then, so I don't
know how I first decided to google "man turns into woman" or
whatever. wish i remembered.

Cracked issue with the genie that screwed up the fishermen's 2
wishes
also Kitty Pryde and Baron Karza
I absolutely hate the guy doesn't want to be a woman getting turned
into a girl and jumps into sex with a guy
a proper story with a guy that doesn't want to be a woman should
have him having some emotion to it- upset, scared, freaking out,
but so many stories have him (now she) grabbing the first guy that
comes along
Kitty Pryde was freaked out by being placed in Karza's body, but
she did her job as an xmen

There's a Simsala Grimm episode where a character gets turned into
a bear by the witch; I used to lie awake in bed thinking what if
the character had been turned into a girl instead to be her
servant... I must have been around 7-8?

For me it was The Hot Chick (old movie with Rachel McAdams and Rob
Schneider) Even before i knew what a tetish was I was feeling super
curious about the idea of swapping bodies with a chick. Im also
pretty sure that the sight of Rob-as-Rachel still parading around
in cute outfits is partly to blame for my panties/crossdressing
kink. Then it was followed up by Its A Boy Girl Thing. I couldnt
stop touching myself during the waking up in the other person's
body scene and fantasizing that it could be me in the chick's body.

For me it was watching Tom Terrific (with Manfred the Wonder Dog!)
on the Captain Kangaroo show back in the really old days. He could
shape shift into pretty much anything. I kept waiting for him to
shift into a girl but alas he never did. Still was fun.

Gilligan's Island The Friendly Physician and Star Trek's Turnabout
Intruder started it for me. Then I began to apply those ideas to
girls that I would attractive in school and in my neighborhood.

yeah it surprised me first reading it.... it's written like theyare
stuck so I imaged the two trying to live as each other......
Audra-in-Spencer enjoying guy related stuff and not wanting to tell
anyone of the swap....
Spencer-in-Audra not wanting to tell anyone either.... including
"her" former family.... and like "she" finds a new sisterly
friendship with her former sister when "she" comes over

Two Sid and Marty Kroftt shows did it for me.
The first was a Magic Mongo episode. MM was a genie and Donald was
his master. Donald was a young guy who hung out on the beach with
two female freiends. MM wasn't always great at how he granted
Donald's wishes. In the episode, Donald is being chased by a guy,
and asks MM to help him. So MM turns him into a woman. Donald's two
female friends later figure out it is really Donald in there. MM
then gives Donald the power to switch back and forth between male
and female forms so he can help one of his female friends. The
female version of Donald is played by the same actor, in drag. I
wish it had been a female actress in a tiny bikini, like many of
the other beach people.
The other one was an episode of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl. The
Spider lady villain makes a machine where you put two people in,
and one of them becomes a clone of the other. The Spider lady turns
into a clone of Electra Woman. She taunts Electra Woman as to how
she looks, sounds, and even walks like Electra Woman. It was crazy
because there were no obvious camera tricks to have Electra Woman
and her clone both in the same shot, and this was well before CGI.
I found out later that the clone was actually the real life twin of
the Electra Woman actress.

The TG body swap in Vice Versa shocked me back in the day. I used
to fantasize about their new lives as the opposite gender.

When I first watched Dr Jekyll and Ms Hyde starring Tim Daly and
Sean Young the idea of mtf transformation seemed fascinating. I
later found a much larger catalog for this as I grew older.

The Outer limits body swap episode. Although it was M2M, it got me
thinking about what would have happened if it had been MtF.

yourself anytime you want just by wishing it?
