1) FTM: Doppelganger turns back into himself (8:50)
2) MTF: Doppelganger immediately turns back into Madilyn (9:00)
3) FTM: Dopplegager changes from Madilyn into a copy of Homelander

I pretty much called what would happen in my last post!
But sadly now Doppelganger is dead. Since it was mentioned before
that this would be the character's only appearance in the season,
perhaps itis something we should have expected.
Though I do wonder about one thing about the
Doppleganger-as-Madelyn scene, something I alluded to in my last
post...

def. disappointing that he died, but I think in terms of
storytelling it's a smart move to kill him off early; means they
won't be able to retcon any deaths later on as secretly him

No more obvious transformations with the shapeshifter gone... but I
do enjoy the show anyway. So I'll keep watching in case another
"supe" shows up with some kind of transformative powers, however
unlikely that may be.

In this new episode, Homelander got a new love interest which is
Stormfront. Hope that Doppleganger weren't really dead so we could
see him change his appearance into Stormfront to satisfy
Homelander. Especially She's 100% more sexy and hot than Madelyn.
