I appreciate it.

Asked a similar question myself not long ago and got a similar
response. Your reasons for removing them are your own and warranted
but I'm sure there are a few people like Tommi and myself that
would like to have them just to keep.

I never understood why a Captioner or Story Writer suddenly,
without a warning removes his/her works from their „public
library”.
I know a lot of Tumblr Captioner, Story Writer whose are kind of a
„divas”, and in this whole Tumblr purge I expected that a lot of
them will just delete everything but NO. From 60 blog there were
only 1x where the blog just dissapeared and 3x blogger posted that
the blog will be deleted in one week, but they gave us a chance to
save their works. You know I never expected that you will be one of
them, who just delete a big chunk of their „legacy”, without any
warning shot.
And don't get me wrong, it’s ok if you want to shift your focus
back to normal writing, but this is the worst possible way to treat
your fans and work. And if you don't want fans, don’t post your
work.
Like the others, I really enjoyed your work too, but if I know that
one day you will just delete them and I can't read them again, I
would never read them at the first time, because I now missing
them.
And sorry but I need to say, this „I will send a response” is
ridiculous. If don't want to share it, say that, but dont give them
false hope.
You should do a Collection from your work, and put it on Gumroad
like Grumpy-TG did.
I didn't mean to offend you, but this whole thing is sad, really
sad, and I expected more from you.

@mark
I hate to break it to you, but caption writers don’t owe anything
to their fans or other caption writers even. I’ve deleted my
blogger multiple times because I wanted too. I didn’t say why or
tell others. I just did it.

What Mark said it a bit harsh, but there is truth in it.
@Penguinattack
I dont really get it. Its ok of course if you delete your own
stuff, its yours, but if you dont care about your fans or you just
simply dont want to interact with these people, why do you even
have a blog? :D Its meaningless.
I know a lot of blogs, what were deleted, because the comments went
into a hostile or demanding way. Maybe this is the only reason what
I see as a rational motivation for a blog delete (but I think this
kind of problem can be solved nowadays too)
Peace :)

Interesting debate and an increasingly common one. I side with
Zapper. Although it is too bad when a creator deletes her/his
blogs, captions, stories etc they do have an absolute legal and
even moral right to do so. Being a writer is a very lonely pursuit.
Often irrational. That is why writers write, even when they get
lots of rejections.
@defy0 People write for lots of reasons, often irrational, and
likewise don't need a "rational motivation" to delete their stuff.
I regretted when Bodistealer deleted all his stories from Yahoo
years ago. But I supported his right to do so.
