Triple posting bug?

Lately there has been a sudden increase in people unintentionally posting several times. Whether it is commenting multiple times in a thread or creating dupes of the same thread.

I'm wondering if something is off in the site's backend. This has been happening too frequently for it to be a coincidence. Is it possible for a mod or admin to look into this?

I've also had trouble searching on the message board on both mobile and desktop. Not sure if this is related or something else altogether.

I can confirm that there is a bug of some sort; it's happened to me once, leading to me triple-commenting.on a post a few weeks ago. When it happened to me, my post didn't appear to have gone through the first time I clicked "post message", so I clicked it again, and then a third time, before I finally reloaded the page and discovered that my post had in fact been posted all three times.

Same here. I originally thought people were trolling but its definitely a bug. I responded to a question a few weeks back and it posted 4 responses.

it happened to me....you click send and the message is delayed and you think it was not sent....so you click again...I returned hours later and was flamed for being a multiple sender...and I am a good person!!!!!

It's just the site being slow, people thinking their message isn't going through and clicking it multiple times. So let this be a little PSA I guess: even if it takes a few minutes you only need to click Post ONE TIME. It'll still go through.

I had a bug a little while ago where it looked like it had not posted and was stuck on an loading circle on the tab. Since I has seen multiple postings recently I opened a new tabp with a fresh load of the forum and saw it had already posted. Presuming this is happening for others it may be thye are clicking the button over an over agian thinking it did not work.
