It's on its 8th week in cinemas in France. I think the release date for the dvds is in February but I'm not sure. The gender change lasts around 2 minutes.

The gender change is in the trailer. It’s a poof change and it’s the genie that changes. Doesn’t look like it’s explored or anything nothing to see really.

To develop a little bit on what's not seen in the trailer, the genie also changes his voice and actually becomes angry when the princess calls "her" vulgar. He tries to convince the bad guy to ditch the princess and remain with the him in girl form. But like I said it only lasts 2 minutes and it's the scene seen in the trailer.

I can't remember right now. But you'll be disappointed because it's not seen (no transformation visible, no *poof*)and only implied by the genie mentioning that the goats surrounding him are the guards.
