I took a scene from an old "Arabian Nights" comedy-fantasy movie that *almost* had a magic MtF transformation in it (originally, the guy in question quickly backs out of a genie wish at the last minute, before it can be granted), and edited in a scene from another, unrelated "Arabian Nights" movie from same era, bridging the two scenes with a "POOF!" smoke effect from an old cartoon, and viola! --the guy gets changed into a handmaiden after all! Enjoy!

Wow. We almost had a real one from that old movie. Too bad the male protagonist didnt have the guts to turn into a beautiful handmaiden

what's the original movie called and the year it was made if possible

The original movie (first part of the clip) is from 'One Thousand and One Nights' (1945, Columbia); the actors are Cornel Wilde (Aladdin) and Evelyn Keyes (Babs the genie).

The other part of the clip (the handmaiden) is from 'Sinbad the Sailor' (1947, RKO); the actors are Jane Greer (the handmaiden), Maureen O'Hara (the princess), Anthony Quinn (Emir, dressed in white) and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr (Sinbad, pretending to be "Ahmed", dressed in black).

The magic burst of animated pink smoke, connecting the two scenes, is from the end of the Bugs Bunny cartoon, 'A Lad in His Lamp' (1948, Warner Brothers).

Nicely done! I love the moment when she fumbles with the veil and looks nervous; it's easy to believe it's a continuations of the previous scene and he's just appeared there as a girl. The Bugs Bunny "poof" was a fun touch too.
