Stories in which roles (not bodies) are switched?

Another concept that it was stuck in my head:

A mother and daughter swapping roles. I tried to make the mother look pretty childish (sense she is now treated like a child), so the white tights, the bow in her hair. The new "mother" on the other hand is pretty adult, with her black tights and high heels.

Is there anyway that same image can be done with them in their underwear?

From: guest (Wren) , 3 months, post #143
I really like this pic!

From: guest (TA) , 3 months, post #144
Thanks, guys :)

Hanko, it can be done, with controlnets and so on. Although some online services might be picky with nudity. It's an interesting concept: the "new daughter" wearing a Frozen disney panties, no bra of course, sense she's just a child. The "new mother" on the other hand is wearing a mature Victoria Secrets lingerie

Well I'd be excited to see. If you feel uncomfortable posting it here, you can email me.

Although, lets challenge that idea. Version 1, the mother is in her daughter's princess panties and as a mature woman, wearing her daughter's sports bra. The daughter has on her mother's tasteful (soma intimates) lingerie, nothing over the top. Version 2 the mother is now the slutty teenager so she wears hot pink Victoria secret lingerie while the teenage daughter wears high waisted nylon shoppers in beige or black. Fun idea!

TA, if you’re taking requests, could you do something where either a male executive and female secretary swap roles/clothes, or male executive and teen daughter swap? Something that shows both of them in their new identities?

From: guest (Jjk) , 3 months, post #148
What AI generator do you use?

From: JDRiley , 3 months, post #149
TA, if I may make a request of my own?

Mother has swapped lives with her pre-teen daughter.

The mother wear's her daughter's school uniform (white shirt, blue blazer, black-and-blue pleated plaid skirt, knee-high black socks, black leather lace-up shoes) and has her hair tied back in a ponytail.

The daughter has her hair loose, and wears a T-shirt, mom jeans and ballet flats.

It's a mix between Bing Image/DALL-E 3 and Stable Diffusion. Bing is the best as far understanding what you are going for. Which is especially important if you are doing this sort of role reversal images, because it's very easy for the the algorithm to mix things up. The problem is that Bing is heavenly censored, so you end up wasting a lot of time until you find a prompt that sorta works. For instance, I generated these after tweaking a little big with prompts:
https://web.archive.org/web/20231215192948/https://imgin.voidnet.tech/a/oBB1AWP

Stable Diffusion doesn't have this problems (especially if you run locally or use some online services where you pay to use – if you want a free service, I would recommend playground.com, it has some nudity censorship though), and its prompt understanding is not as good. In both cases, sometimes you might have to generate multiple images and adjusts the prompt accordingly and them do some inapinting on photoshop to merge the best parts of multiple images versions you created of that image with img2img.

As I have been saying: the biggest limitation on this technology (and even DALL-E 3 isn't there yet), is understanding. Sure, they can generate some pretty amazing realistic images, but if you want to describe a complex scene... the biggest your prompt is, the biggest the chance of it messing up. Especially when you describing things very easy for the algorithm to mess up, since statistically, it's more probably that if you describe someone wearing a dress, that person is a woman, so it's little tricky to make the algorithm to understand what you are going for. Especially if you are not only describing a man wearing dressed as woman, but you also, in the same scene, is also describing a woman dressed like a man.

Well done TA! I'd be open to combining some resources if you are interested.

It's not the best, buy maybe something like this:

Those look pretty great to me, TA! Curious what prompts you use. As you say, the algorithms default to trying to depict the person wearing a dress as a woman, and the one on a suit as a man. I’ve had better luck doing solo images, but cam never get two swapped characters in the same frame.

From: guest (Body Swap Compilations) , 3 months, post #155
I have also begun experimenting with Bing Image Creator so I am also curious as to what prompts TA used to generate the images in post#153.

From: guest (TA) , 3 months, post #156
Body Swap Compilations, there are several, here are a few:

1992s movie still frame. There's a man wearing a modest secretary skirt and blouse, heels, black leggings, and he has long hair. Talking to his male boss.

1992s movie still frame. There's a man wearing a modest secretary skirt and blouse, heels, black leggings, and he has long hair. He is talking to old senior man boss, who is wearing black pants.
a Japanese man with long hair works as a secretary and is wearing a skirt suit and high heels
1992s Japanese movie still frame. There's a man wearing a modest secretary skirt and blouse, heels, black leggings, and he has long hair. Talking to his male boss.

Some observation:
  • I notice that if you "Japanese", it tends to avoid putting beards or the men dressing like women. So try to put like "Japanese movie scene" or something.

  • It's very tricky to get a both the woman dressed like a man, and the man dressed like a woman. Because the algorithm tends to misunderstand what you are going for, and end up putting the woman in a dress, and the man in suit. It's waaay easier to just man, "the man dressed like a woman" alone or the "the woman dressed like a man alone".

  • And, most of all, you have the problem of dealing with bing image creator banning certain prompts.

From: guest (TA) , 3 months, post #157
I think I sorta develope a workflow to generate scenes with the alternate gender roles, it's somewhat tricky and messi and requires some Photoshop skills.

1) Generate a base scene. In this base scene, you just describe it normaly, without reversing the roles. For instance, just write:

  • high resolution scan, 2002 movie still frame, working in an office, Tom Hanks wearing a suit talking to Emma Watson, who is wearing black skirt and white tights

https://imgur.com/P1L58e0.jpg

2) Now get the image you want, paint black everything, with the exception for the character you want to change, in this case let's change Emma Watson into Tom Hanks, so it must look like:

https://imgur.com/PPx2zDI.jpg

You then img2img that image (set the image strenght to like 30% or 40% or something, we want the image to offer a lot of influence in this original image we will generate), also play a little bit with the prompt guidance to like 17 or so, as well as changing the prompt to, for instance:

  • high resolution scan, 2002 movie still frame, working in an office, Tom Hanks wearing black skirt and white tights, with long hair,

Choose the result that you find best:
https://i.imgur.com/M0Uv5wK.png

Now, do the same thing but with Tom Hanks, turning him into Emma Watson. So paint everything black:

https://imgur.com/kCIrwm9

Change the prompt:
  • high resolution scan, 2002 movie still frame, working in an office, Emma Watson wearing black suit, shor thair,

Find the one you like:
https://i.imgur.com/AKz9acv.jpg

And then merge all 3 images into one on photoshop.
https://i.imgur.com/0wN3MDR.png

It's not the best result, you sure can smooth things out the process along the way, maybe even img2img this final image to really sweet the deal

Body Swap Compilations, sorry reading again, I believe misunderstood your question. The images on post 153 were made with Stable Diffusion. More or less with the method I described bellow, along with a bit of Photoshop to smooth things out and help to guide the algorithm, as well as polishing the final image.

From: guest (Body Swap Compilations) , 3 months, post #159
Wow, thanks for the lengthy explanation of the process TA. By the way, if you don't mind taking a request for me, could you do something where a male school student and a female school student swap roles and school uniforms? Something like the male student with bangs and a ponytail wearing a female school uniform and the female student with tomboy hair wearing a male school uniform.

There's a manwha called Hurricane Princess in which a tough guy in a bad school swaps places with a magical princess in another world and both lost their memory.

There's nothing in english but the RAWs go up to chapter 30.
