I remember a topic back on here from about a decade ago, if not
longer, and was hoping to resurrect it having had trouble finding
it on here. A post from yesterday with the GFBF "Phonecalls" video
brought me back and led me to post this topic. The transformation
element (if you can even call it that) had specifically to do with
actresses in music videos sounding like their male counterparts by
lip syncing their vocal parts.
IIRC the examples I remember that were shared back in that post
were Weezer's video for "Perfect Situation", Brooks and Dunn's
track "Play Something Country", George Michael's "Freedom '90",
etc. There was also one with Halle Berry but I completely forgot
the song and artist. Can anyone think of more to add to this list?

A lot of the 'channels' in the Bob Dylan interactive video for
"Like a Rolling Stone" include this. Downside is that you have to
scroll through each one individually.

So many rap and hip hop songs incorporate this but it would be
nearly impossible to link them all in this thread. As an example,
check out Pushin’ It by the Game ft. TI and Robin Thicke.

Saw this in the other thread, but this is probably better suited
here. Copied and pasted:
This is a good one. Lil Dicky - Pillow Talking. One of the better
lip dubs I've ever seen.

They aren't music videos per sé, but there were programmes back in
Italy presented by Piero Chiambretti that had a recurring segment
where the shows' models would occasionally lip sync to records sung
by men. If I recall correctly, two series included this:
Chiambretti Night and Grand Chiambretti Hotel. There were several
instances of these over the six or so years the shows were
broadcast, and the models were very beautiful (sisters Lola and
Nora Mogalle, and a dancer named Danah Matthews). Unfortunately
almost all of these videos have been scrubbed from the internet due
to copyright infringement claims from the original network.
