Describe the full gender change movie you would like to see made.

Either a 'Swap' type of movie where the heroes do not change back
and have to adopt to their new lives and genders, or a 'Some Like
it Hot' movie where the hero decides he's much happier as a woman
and doesn't revert to manhood when he can. I'd also love to see
some kind of movie where a man is subtly and permanently feminized
by his wife (hormones in his food, etc), but that may be hard to
pull off.

A dramatic reimagining of A Christmas Carol, where a chauvinist is
forced to live a day in the life of each of the women in his life
he has abused until he learns his lesson.

The basis is Looper, but with body switching instead of time
travel.
It's the future and body switching, though fairly commonplace, is
illegal (shades of Prohibition). The hero is accused of murder, so
he's forced to switch his way through the underworld (in male and
female bodies alike) to find out who framed him.

The first half is The Fly but a slow gender change while the second
half is When Harry Met Sally

There are a couple of types of gender change films I'd like to see
(I'm pretty sick of the usual body swap/instant
reincarnation/Jekyll & Hyde retreads we nearly always get), that
perhaps a general audience would accept, beyond just TG
transformation fans like us.
1.) An irreverent comedy, where a magical sci-fi device from the
future (maybe a ray gun or a remote control) materializes on the
campus of a party college, variously falling into the hands of
several students, who use it for pranks and schemes (romantic and
otherwise). Its main properties are gender change related, but it
might have a few extra features that could add to the fun. The
movie's tone would be very important to put it over successfully,
and I picture it being sort of like what 'National Lampoon's Animal
House' or 'Real Genius' would be like, if crossed with something
like Ranma 1/2, and directed by (or in the style of someone like)
Edgar Wright ('Shaun of the Dead', 'Hot Fuzz', 'Scott Pilgrim vs
the World', 'The World's End', 'Baby Driver').
2.) A fantasy/thriller, where two straight-male best friends (could
be high school seniors, college age frat boys, or working stiffs in
their early-mid 20s) accidentally discover that someone they know,
who is a personality type prone to be corrupted by power (and has
some perceived grudges to settle, mainly over slights and some
good-natured teasing), has unlocked the key to wield actual magic,
and is steadily amassing dangerous power... which could threaten
the town, country, and eventually the world as we know it. One of
the two friends (basically likeable, but also a little bit of a
jerk, at times) is the object of such a grudge, and is hit with a
spell/curse, as they are caught spying on the antagonist, which
will gradually change him into a very sexy-looking, petite young
woman. They escape, and try to figure out a way to thwart the
villain, before the menace becomes too powerful to stop (and before
the villain finds them again and finishes them off).
On the run, and in hiding, the cursed friend gradually becomes
smaller and more female (though no identity death) with each
passing hour, to his horror and to the astonishment of his pal
(this could easily play very silly, so the
lighting/camerawork/acting/music score would have to effectively
convey "body horror", but with an increasingly erotic edge to it,
the further along it gets). The friend eventually takes on a
protective role for his now-female (and attractive) chum, as they
are in constant danger from the villain (and/or minions)... and
their friendship, under these desperate circumstances, gradually
morphs into something approaching romantic love, especially when it
becomes clear the spell's effects can't be reversed. In tone, the
film would have some elements similar to 'Warlock' (1989),
'Thinner' and 'The Terminator'.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Both films would be R-rated, and would include inventive TF process
scenes (via editing tricks, body doubles, prosthetics, in-camera
effects and CGI) that would satisfy fans like us, while not
dwelling on it so much (or veering too closely to softcore porn)
that they would turn-off/creep-out an average movie audience.
Most importantly, while there would be character growth/arcs in
both films, and both would unavoidably touch on the the topics of
sex/gender and relationships in one way or another, neither would
be "message" movies about how difficult it is being female, male or
trans... and the recipients of the gender changes would initially
be unwitting and unwilling (with perhaps an exception or two by
supporting characters in the comedy movie)... and those major
characters who have their sex/genders changed will have to be
exceptionally good-looking (hotties and hunks, rather than plain or
androgynous types).
