Stories where women took over the world and men become 2nd class citizen?
From: guest (jumenong) , 76 months, post #1
I am currently reading the novel "The Power" by Naomi Alderman where women gain the ability to strike electrical jolts from their finger and as a result women are taking over the world and men are living helplessly under the thumb of women and subjected to all the discrimination, harassment and objectification that women faced in real life.

Is there any more story like this that I can read? Thanks for any answer!

There's a recent-ish movie called No Men Beyond This Point. It's a fake documentary about a World where men became obsolete and almost extinct.

Ok, this one is a bit out there, but you may like it: "Primacy" by Julie Manchester.

A new drug makes women taller and stronger than men, and things only get wilder from there. Over the course of the story men get further and further degraded until they are the ones barefoot and pregnant. They lose pretty much everything, even the right to vote.

The book "Regiment of Women" takes place in a world where men and women have not only swapped role and power, but clothes: the men wear dresses and are sexually harassed, while the women wear suits and enjoy all the control.

There was a funny 'In Living Color' sketch where the last man alive thought he was going to live a life of nothing but sex, but ended up with a honey-do list from every woman in the world.

I was about the mention it, pretty interesting book. Although,to be honest that whole part of the men wanting to make a revolution against the system and to fight the government, that whole thing put me a little bit off XD

There is maybe one or two episodes in Sliders where they end up in a universe where women are in charge.
