Trolls will destroy a site, by making it about something it is not.
This site was supposed to be about one thing while it is taking on
the life of another.
Not fighting for the site's original intent means that you support
the trolls

I agree. We must stand united & defend the site against those
trolls.

to those close to the owner of this site, please ask him to
consider enacting user registration for this site. If that means I
will not be able to post here as anonymous anymore, fine. I accept
that. Either I will just lurking or maybe consider to register.
these incidents in the last few days were unfortunate.

Okay who runs this site? This is getting annoying. Is there an
email to contact?
|
From: kreplach

The site has a Send Mail feature that I haven't wanted to point out
because trolls may see that too as an invitation. However, look for
it and you can contact the site owner if you see fit.

I tend to agree with the OP. This site is not what it used to be.

From: Alias

This site is exactly what it used to be, trolls exist, we deal with
them, they move on. It's the circle of internet life, get over it.
What about having unregistered accounts having their messages
needing approval before being posted? Have the trusted users given
the ability to approve or deny, and if the post isn't approved by
someone it's rejected after 2-3 days. That way all the anon troll
posts can be blocked before we see them, people can still be anon
if they don't mind the wait, or they can register.
The only downside is it puts more work on the trusted users, but
that's why they're paid the big bucks.. Wait, they don't get paid?
WTF dude.. ;)

That's how it's done at Fictionmania.

The site is trying to be too much for too many people. Long past
time to narrow the focus back down to TG only

I disagree, I originally found this site while looking for werewolf
and other animal transformations. Metamorphose covers a broad
spectrum of transformations, it should remain that way.

@Alias,
I was not talking about the trolls in my previous post. I was
talking about the issue brought up by the OP, which was the slow
death of this site.

The slow death of this site is a regrettable but sadly inevitable
result of constant change of the world. Nothing is permanent;
everything is impermanent. Live with it.

Kolangkong,
It's not set in stone that this site will die. We all could play
our part in ensuring the site continues to live & thrive.

everything will come to an end eventually.

Going by the number of posting here yes this site is dying.

You are welcome, hm.

how is it not obvious to everyone that there is simply no new
content to post about? we dont magically invent content by posting
on this site, but whenever theres something new we find out about
it here, thats all this site is for

From: guest (The Searcher)

Plenty of us still lurk. As bart said, there's simply a lack of
content. Most of the new content I see regarding from my
favourites, F2F or possessions, are mainly from non-English
speaking countries. Even then, content is sparse but constant.
