If the owner can make a email me for when i and new updates type of feture that would be amazing also a redone website.

From: guest (HD) , 79 months, post #22
The problem with the site is that it is no longer an active community.
Everyone expects other people to give up the goods but no one actually wants to contribute. It's all take from the majority of the site and it's sad to see how no one wants to interact anymore.

From: guest , 79 months, post #23
ok guys, so what do you propose we do then?
We can all bitch and moan about this site not being what it used to be, that's the easyest thing!
These things aren't just gonna resolve themselves.

How about implementing a live chat? Kinda sucks having to come back every 30 minutes to see if anyone has responded

From: guest (Migration) , 79 months, post #25
For some reason. Msg boards as a whole die. And many times new folks form new groups on Facebook groups. Maybe thisbjiche it can happen. Maybe not.

What I want to know is if people aren't coming here anymore, where are they going? Farhad? I come here because this is really all I know (in English at least). I haven't come across any other site of this type as "big" as this. So is the (active) interest as a whole just dying?

This site is the only good place I know of to discuss my fetish of males being changed into females.

From: guest (hahqahaha) , 79 months, post #28
look at all the cj kiss asses coming to his defence...love the dummies who don't realize the spamming was in response to CJ's selective application of rules

From: guest , 79 months, post #29
cause you know spamming is an appropriate response to a disagreement

Is a "state of the site" thread or "cj haters meet cj fanboys" thread? He's gone now or at least for a while so who cares? I wasn't the biggest fan of the guy either but I don't think he was the maker or breaker of the site. I think that's giving too much credit.

Are there any suggestions on what we, as normal users, can do to improve the experience/commuity of this place?

From: guest (Not op) , 79 months, post #31
Tggame is the most constant forum campare to western forums. Mainly due to being just one forum community that includes writing and fan translate discussions as part of the "culture(?)", Thats what it sets Farhad's apart in my opinion.

The writers come and go, but the community rarely be rude or insult the writers. Its always constructive criticism.

I guess segregating the community makes it a lot harder keep track and discourage some content creators by the lack of response since the readers discover the content too slowly?

I have no idea if my assumption would provide any enlightenment on this topic but this is just my own 2cent.

Have tried to start a couple of discussion threads over certain stories, but that does not seem to be as popular as movie discussions, since no one ever joined in.

From: Air Gear , 79 months, post #33
Well, I've been upfront from the beginning that I was here to plug a webcomic I like so I also won't deny I'm probably not the best person to help in this situation generally.

All I want to do is thank the person who made this website. Without this website I would not of been able to learn about all the different shows and movies about body swap, possessions, masking ect.. Its great people like you who keep this place going strong. Thank you all for what you do.

I'll say it. All the snark, snippyness, and overall lack of sense of community is what is killing this site. .. back in the day, people were friendly and cordial. We all came here to discuss our quirky little fetish, and we found a community of others that made us feel a little less alone in the world.... the attacks that went on against CJ were completely unfair. He was on here more and cared more than anybody about the quality of this site. But he took so much crap, it is no dang wonder he left. I seriously hope he is ok. Most of us come here with sadness and depression in our real lives and this is a safe outlet for our fantasies and kinks. I hope CJ didn't take the attacks personally...

...anyway, I miss the days when there were a dozen or so decent people that frequented this site. This is the 30th post in this thread and I've seen examples of the snippyness and snark that I mentioned earlier. THAT is what is killing this site.

From: Polover , 79 months, post #38
Not to belittle you, because I think you were just being open and honest about your feelings, but I think you're projecting when you say "most of us come here with sadness and depression". I mean, there have multiple informal polls in the past, and even contrary to my thoughts, the majority of people seem to be average cisgender people that happen to have interest in this. I think you will find a far higher % of transgender and others struggling with their sexual identity or other issues on here than anywhere else as well but they still technically make up a minority.

If you (not Bob specifically) are a person with depression I would suggest being very careful of the sites that you visit. The internet is not a nice place. The nastiest this site has EVER been still pales in comparison to other sites like Youtube or Reddit. "I" don't want this place being treated like a children's site which I believe cj fostered that kind of tone with overzealousness.

In life, people argue, people chastize and talk snarky. Part of being a normal adult (which statistically most users are) is being able to take such things in stride or at least not holding a grudge over it. I found it demeaning many times on here when entire conversations would be removed at the slightest hint of conflict. If you have depression or other mental ailments I can see one being sensitive to that but I don't think the site should cater to those people because they are simply not the typical user. Obviously, courtesy should always be the standard but I believe part of good conversation is being able to release all aspects of your emotions, to a certain degree, including negative ones.

From: guest (vup) , 79 months, post #39
I think it's part and parcel to how the internet's tone has evolved. In the anonymity of the web, civility and consideration seem to be a casualty, especially in unmoderated forums. I've seen a lot of flame wars and troll-fests escalate fast and this is not a new phenomenon.

As far as this site having been more civil in the past, it had more moderators and violations got nipped in the bud more quickly. As the number of active moderators declined, cj stayed the most active and started to take heat for a) being too aggressive shutting things down and b) enforcing the rules unevenly.

But it does seem there has been more presumption of privilege to demand-and-be-given and that may be generational or simply a Zeitgeist. There are still discussions about things relating to the subject of transformation and the community. Others' perceptions may differ for a few reasons I can think of.

From: guest , 79 months, post #40
I think new Trusted Users should be appointed since the existing ones have clearly lost their passion for site moderation.
